Billy Hopkins

Mayflex has appointed Billy Hopkins in the role of Account Manager for Converged Technology with an emphasis on IP security.

Billy joins Mayflex from Hanwha Techwin Europe where he was based for the last three years as a National Account Manager and prior to that worked for IDIS for five years in both business development and technical roles.

Gareth Vaughan

Inner Range has welcomed Gareth Vaughan to its technical support team to bolster engineering support for integrators and endusers.

Gareth has more than 20 years’ experience in the security industry and is joining Inner Range in the role of Engineer – Application. Gareth will support customers with technical queries about Inner Range systems and integrations, as well as providing training for integrators and product demonstrations as part of the sales process.

Distributor GTEC has appointed Rayan Cherri as its new Head of Sales. Rayan joins the business with over 15 years’ experience in sales and business development gained from eCommerce and the security industries across Europe and the Middle East.

GTEC has also appointed a new Marketing Manager; Kamil Nagorski. Kamil joins the company with a rich history in strategic marketing, branding and graphic design. He has led successful marketing work for brands in Belgium, Poland and France across various industries including FMCG, wellness and beauty. Security and CCTV is a new sector for Kamil to explore.

Shinsuke Kubo

Shinsuke Kubo, Hochiki’s Managing Director for the Middle East operation based out of Dubai, is to take up the role of Commercial Director for Hochiki Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India. This new role will be based out of the UK head office in Gillingham with regular visits to the Middle East, where he will continue to play a key role in the development of this region and remain as a board Director. In his new role, Shinsuke Kubo will be focused on leading the product management team to develop the company's road map. He has already set up his key team with David Brown as Product Manager and Robert Head as Commercial Product Manager, who between them bring over 40 years' experience of working with Hochiki and within fire safety.
