Bull Run building was in great condition, many features about the space reflected library usage patterns from the 1990s and earlier. The new and improved Bull Run Library will have a streamlined and more flexible service desk, and increased seating areas for patrons. The partial glass wall across the children’s area will help contain the noise from the happy activities in that area so as not to interfere with other patron services. There is a newly created study room available for use by small groups, as well as a dedicated seating area for tweens. The enhanced, expanded teen area will have seating and programming space for our young adults.

Our Digital Library offers free access to an extensive collection of thousands of online and digital resources including e-books, audiobooks, newspapers, and premium websites, including:

Story Times are more than just books! They’re interactive experiences that engage children with short stories, action rhymes, songs, and fingerplays. Our story times focus on pre-reading skills that all children need to become good readers, and they help parents practice these skills at home. Each story time differs depending on the age group, but all of them help parents foster a love of books and learning in their children.
