STUDENT-ATHLETE SERVICE COUNCIL

The PVC is proud to support the Student-Athlete Service Council (SASC) in its efforts to organize meaningful community service opportunities for Tiger student-athletes. In addition to organizing core PVC service projects such as youth sports clinics, Teams & Toys and Reading with the Tigers, the Service Council also introduced several new partnerships this year, including partnering with Princeton Best Buddies to host a field day that brought together athletes of all physical and intellectual abilities.

The council also made bi-weekly visits to the Princeton Mobile Food Pantry, to help pack thousands of meals for local families in need. Spreading its reach into Trenton, SASC assembled Mother’s Day gift bags for foster families at the Children’s Home Society this spring. Lastly, in closing out the school year, SASC organized a clothing drive called Clean Out for a Cause which invited teams to donate gently worn clothing to aid communities across the globe.
