Oct 13, 7 p.m. An Evening with American Repertory Ballet — The Princeton-based company presents an evening of dance and discussion hosted by director Douglas Martin. In this season preview, resident choreographers Mary Barton and Matthew Keefe will talk about their new ballets and the public will have an opportunity chance to interact with the dancers. SUNDAY, OCT. 16 Oct. 16, 2 p.m. Author Melissa Harris-Perry (“Sister Citizen”) In this groundbreaking book, the author uses multiple methods of inquiry, including literary analysis, political theory, focus groups, surveys, and experimental research to understand more deeply black women’s political and emotional responses to pervasive negative race and gender images. Technological changes and social networking are also reviewed at this Tuesday Networking Breakfast, a monthly meeting of those unemployed, underemployed or seeking a career change.
