PRIME AE proudly wore blue in support of Men's Health! Not only did we wear blue, but many of our offices enjoyed delicious blue themed breakfast treats. We believe that promoting the well-being of our employees and community is of utmost importance. Men's health matters, and it's time to raise awareness about the challenges they face and the importance of early detection and prevention.
The Louisville office made a stylish presence at Thurby, an exciting prelude to the Kentucky Derby in Louisville, KY!
Daniel Warren, Gina Lay, and Terri Combs added their charm and enthusiasm to the festivities, joining the vibrant atmosphere that surrounds this beloved tradition. It was a day filled with fashion, horse racing, and unforgettable moments.
The Jacksonville office's team outing in May was an absolute blast!
It kicked off with a lively happy hour at a fantastic local brewery's rooftop, where laughter and camaraderie filled the air. The excitement continued as everyone headed to an evening baseball game, showing their support for the beloved local team, The Jumbo Shrimp. It was an unforgettable experience filled with fun, cheers, and memorable moments.
PRIME AE offices savored the delectable delights of a Taco Tuesday extravaganza, complete with a mouthwatering assortment of toppings. Additionally, they embarked on an adventure with a Breakfast Around the World, savoring delicacies from various countries. Gathering together, they not only satisfied their taste buds but also created an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie. There's nothing quite like the pleasure of sharing good food in good company!
The PRIME AE outing at the ballpark was a homerun!
Our team came together for some good old-fashioned fun to cheer on the Columbus Clippers, enjoy delicious ballpark treats, and create unforgettable memories. It was an evening filled with laughter, excitement, and a whole lot of fun!
To all the PRIME AE team members who joined us, thank you for making this outing a tremendous success! Your energy and enthusiasm are what make our company so extraordinary. We couldn't have asked for a better team!
Hunger never takes a break, even in the summer!
PRIME AE proudly supported the Summer Stock Up Food Drive for the Worthington Resource Pantry. We're grateful to be part of this initiative, which connects neighbors, provides essential resources, and fights hunger in northern Franklin and southern Delaware counties, Ohio.
Together, we donated 55 lbs of food and a generous supply of plastic bags, essential for packaging meals distributed by Lyft drivers.
Join us in making a difference by supporting local organizations like the Worthington Resource Pantry. Together, we can ensure no one goes hungry this summer!
WTS Kentucky, along with a representative from each of their Founding Sponsors (PRIME AE is a founding sponsor) and KYTC had the privilege of a behind the scenes tour of the BlueOvalSK Battery Park construction site in Glendale, KY! Terri Combs, the founding president of WTS Kentucky, and Jennifer Hardwick, the Secretary, were both in attendance at the event.
The Jacksonville office is excited to welcome back a summer family event, this year at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens!
The Jacksonville office is excited to welcome back a summer family event, this year at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens! A group of 40 people, comprised of team members and their families, went out on a group “safari” that included a scavenger hunt with prizes for the kids. Heading to the Zoo was great for families, but also a great way for our team members to see the legacy of our work at the venue. Additionally, everyone was able to see the updated parking lot and site for a new Northeast Florida themed grand entrance - designed by us! While this project is still in early stages, it is exciting to think about the future of this regional icon and the impact our work will have on the community.
Each year the Jacksonville office holds a Kid’s Art Exhibition, a showcase of artwork created by the children of the office influenced by a theme that changes with the year.
This year the theme was “Welcome to the Jungle”, and was followed by a family social at the Jacksonville Zoo. We also welcomed team members to create pieces in effort to have as much artwork as possible in our lobby. Thank you to everyone who participated!
PRIME AE's Columbus team made a substantial impact at Lazelle Woods Metro Park in Columbus, OH through their volunteering efforts!
They tackled invasive pear trees of different sizes and other unwanted species, creating space and resources for native plants to thrive. Over the course of the morning, they successfully removed more than 40 trees, transforming the landscape significantly.
Thank you for giving back to our communities!
Our team has the pleasure of presenting at the Society of American Military Engineers Charleston Post meeting in North Charleston, NC.
It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow professionals and experts in the field, and we also had the chance to provide insights into PRIME AE’s recovery efforts supporting NAVFAC Southeast after Hurricane Sally hit NAS Pensacola.
Situated on the Florida Gulf Coast, NAS Pensacola is a bustling naval air station, employing more than 16,000 military and 7,400 civilians and housing the headquarters for Naval Education Training Command. When the base was hit by Category 2 Hurricane Sally, a drawn-out repair process was not an option. To assess and repair the damage on a tight schedule, PRIME AE completed a fast-track project under a single task-order to perform storm damage assessments, determine Design-Build repair scopes of work, and develop repair procurement documents for 89 damaged buildings.
The timeline wasn’t the only challenge PRIME AE faced. Thirty-six of the damaged buildings were historic, requiring special SHPO consulting. The damage also occurred during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, necessitating additional health and safety measures monitored by the government and CDC on the federal property.
To overcome all of the challenges and complete the large-scale project on schedule, we provided consistent, daily communication with NAVFAC and NAS Pensacola staff, effective project management, a strong QA/QC program and creative project staffing allowed our team to complete all milestones on or ahead of schedule. We quickly assembled a large, experienced group of multi-disciplined professionals, primarily through in-house resources. Five separate design teams worked concurrently to develop the 89 RFP documents. Despite the aggressive schedule, broad scope of work, and changing requirements, our team successfully partnered with our client to complete the project on time and return the vital naval air station to full operation.
