Homework Hub
from Winter 2020
Homework Hub; here to help.
Our dedicated development team is always looking for ways to improve our standards of homework and the support that they can offer in school. Last year, the Homework Hub was launched to support each student and their parents or carers. This term, the Homework Hub is reprioritising and pushing towards having a live feed for parental support and advice that will be beneficial to both students and their families.

One of the newest features is a live chat feature in order to keep communication lines between parents and teachers. Teachers can talk with parents in a forum setting or individually to seek help with student’s school work and homework when needed. The Homework Hub lets parents take control and guide student support, with teachers still supporting during school hours. These new features ensures that students can have consistent access to their learning through the next few months.
The Homework Hub will also help bridge the learning gap between school learning and studying at home. Teachers can continue setting homework tasks for their classes and both students and parents can access this set work by downloading the homework as a document. Uploading the completed work is simple too, just following the process and contacting the support team through the live chat feature if they encounter any issues.
The Homework Hub will provide the opportunity for the development of skills by allowing access to face to face assistance. The most improved students by the end of the winter term will also receive a recognition award from Mrs Newey and Mrs Gill. Academic progress is paramount to our staff here at Our Lady’s and we wish to maximise the amount of progress made by all students in these trying times.
