As we come to the end of our winter term, students in year 7 who have been the highest attenders have received recognition awards from Mrs Newey our CTG coordinator. Mrs Newey said;

I am proud, so you should feel proud year 7, you have well and truly delivered! Continue to be your best selves and the strongest of role models amongst Our Lady’s community. You persisted, you never quit and endured on your learning journey this term. You stayed on course and prevailed and for that I feel immensely proud.

Mrs Newey and Miss Watkins, head of year 7, asked form tutors to nominate their most improved and most outstanding attenders and some clear winners shone through. The pupils have shown an incredible amount of commitment and determination in school so far this year and Miss Watkins expressed that she was incredibly proud of all of them. Davina Larsson was also awarded the Head of Year Award by Miss Watkins for being a brilliant all-round pupil. Davina is hard working and conscientious in lessons who always tries her best and acts upon all feedback given by her teachers. During social times she is a kind and responsible member of the year group who has made an excellent start to year 7 and we are very excited to see where she goes on her Our Lady’s journey. I am proud, so you should feel proud – Mrs Newey
