Open Athletics is a nationwide LGBT athletics network with members across the UK, connecting LGBT athletes in track and field, fell/trail running and race walking. Manchester’s group trains weekly year round and organises the very popular Alexandra Park 5k run every first Sunday of the month. In the summer there is sprints and throws training. International competition see members competing as a UK team and we welcome all who have an interest in athletics and respect our diversity values.
