A LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE For 90 years, the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma has provided students and faculty a competitive edge in creating innovative solutions to the greatest business issues of our time.

Price College offers programs that deliver the financial, technological and leadership credentials demanded by today’s global enterprises. Constructed in 1936, the original Business Administration Building was later named after Dean Arthur Barto Adams in 1952.

Extensions to the building were completed in 1964, and

minor updates have been made to the original building over the past many decades. As the future home to both the Division of Finance and the Division of Management Information Systems, the third floor of Adams Hall will serve as a hub for student and faculty research, collaboration and achievement. To grow the college by attracting the best and brightest students and faculty, we must upgrade offices, classrooms and study spaces to meet the expectations of a 21st-century business education.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO OPTIMIZE Following the completion of Phase I (“Purpose x Energy = Impact”) of its long-term capital campaign, Price College is Continuing the Climb in Phase II. Today, Price College stands at the intersection of industry and the academe.

Time and again, we depend on our alumni, friends and corporate supporters to co-invest with us to prepare the leaders needed for Oklahoma and beyond. Gifts to the campaign fuel the initiatives that promote a culture of excellence and broad access to educational advancement.

By upgrading core classrooms and the offices of the divisions of Finance and Management Information Systems, we can centralize division offices, improve faculty retention and provide students world-class facilities for academic performance.

ADDITIONAL FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES ADAMS HALL GRAND LECTURE HALL (#150) | $1,500,000 The largest classroom in Adams Hall – one many alumni will recall – is room 150 in the north hallway. Seating capacity for this lecture hall is 275 and is host to countless classes each semester, industry speakers, combined student program events, large academic seminars and industry conferences. Once complete, the lecture hall will provide an innovative approach to classroom furniture and state-of-the-art technology. This space will have high foot traffic and student visibility, which is ideal for a corporate, alumni or family naming.

ACTIVE LEARNING CLASSROOM (#335) | $750,000 The Active Learning Classrooms are technologically forward classrooms applying the innovative “flipped classroom” method, which allows the innovation Price College faculty bring to the classroom to prepare our students to lead on day one. Active Learning Classrooms create an environment that facilitates student collaboration through idea-sharing and creativity by allowing technology to catalyze data-driven problem solving. Active learning environments are increasingly essential to deliver engaged, project-based courses characteristic of the key components of the college’s robust curriculum.

DATA ANALYTICS MODELING CLASSROOM (#360) | $500,000 All data analytics, quantitative and financial modeling classes taught through Price College will be held in this renovated and invigorated third-floor classroom. The space provides an active learning environment where students are provided technology-enabled problem-solving offerings.

TRADING FLOOR (#109) | $500,000 Located on the southern hallway of the first floor, the Trading Floor provides a real-world “dealing room” and “trading room” atmosphere, emblematic of the financial market, for our students. Including exposure to a scrolling stock ticker and Bloomberg Terminals, the Trading Floor offers a key medium in creating a “Wall Street atmosphere” for students and visitors alike.
