MEET AMY ROBINSON

DEAR NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS,

I'm Amy, your neighborhood photographer, and I'm beyond excited to connect with y'all!

A little about me: I'm a Texas Woman's University grad with a degree in art, specializing in photography. My love for photography started with my mom's vintage 1970s Canon camera, and now I shoot with a Sony A7IV mirrorless—which I'm absolutely obsessed with. For me, photography is all about capturing life's beautiful chaos, whether it's my four amazing kids (three in college and one about to graduate high school!) or chasing after our two dogs. Life's best moments fly by, and photos are a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone.

Since 1997, I've had the absolute joy of photographing all kinds of milestones—weddings, maternity shoots, classy boudoir (yes, ladies), newborn cuddles, and high school seniors getting ready to take on the world. It's a privilege to watch these families grow over the years. I've shot some really cool private parties over the years and met some local celebs doing everything from holiday parties and nonprofit fundraisers to red carpet events. I love what I do, and there is never a dull moment.

One of the highlights of my career was photographing a wedding in Greece (yes, it's just as dreamy as it sounds). But honestly, the best part is hearing my clients tell me how at ease they felt during their shoot or how they saw themselves in a whole new light through my lens. The best compliment is when I hear someone say that I made them feel beautiful or that the session was effortless, easy, and so much fun.

This past year has been a whirlwind. I lost my mom on New Year's Eve, and she was not only my everything but also my biggest supporter. Caring for her taught me some of life's most important lessons: love deeply and don't wait for the "perfect" moment. Life is happening now—so make the most of it!

I dedicate this letter to her and would love the honor of capturing your family's special moments.

See you around the neighborhood and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
