“We cannot fulfill our obligation to prepare accountancy students for a successful professional life in the New Knowledge Age(NKA), when nearly all jobs require technological competence, unless we provide them with technology-enriched learning.

We will be using a wide range of learning technologies to enhance the educational experience, inspire innovative teaching, and foster student success using our Global Blended Learning Systems (GBLS). Starting June 2015 we will introduce Global Learning Hubs and Global Lecture Hubs at our Technology Enriched Campus in the heart of New Kingston, Jamaica. Global Personalized Adaptive Learning System(GPALS) Global Personalized Adaptive Learning Systems (GPALS) will adjust the learning content and lectures based on the needs of the students and their specific learning style.

The aim of GPALS is to further refine our teaching methodology to meet the learning needs of both individuals and the student body as a whole.

GPALS will address common learning challenges in professional examinations, including student motivation, diverse student backgrounds, and resource limitations. We will target our lectures to the abilities and learning material needs of individual students so as to reduce the drop-out rates, improve student outcomes and improved the speed of those outcomes. It will also enable the college to dedicate its resources and attention where it is most needed.

At Global Accountancy College (GAC), we no longer believe in the basic traditional onesize-fits-all instructional model. GPALS is designed to meet each student where they are in terms of learning strengths and then guide them towards completing their examinations successfully.
