This manual applies to the Bottom House and Smooth Water Bay Community Center located in the Bottom House sector, municipality of Providencia, and its scope of application is for the users of this place for the benefit of the community.

Principles Respect
The Community Code of Conduct of the Community Center will be governed by the following principles:

Coexistence Committee
For the proper management of differences, conflicts, and various situations that may arise in the community living within the Community Center, a coexistence committee will be formed, which will be governed by the following instances:
Methodology
Each coexistence committee will be carried out in accordance with the previous process of self-management of situations carried out by community members and the person in charge of managing the space. Only issues that have not been resolved after this process and represent a current and latent situation that disrupts community living will be presented to the committee.
Sanctions
The coexistence committee will handle cases to resolve conflicts. Based on the results and measures adopted by the coexistence committee, sanctions may be imposed by the committee in accordance with the prescribed procedure. It is the responsibility of the Board of Directors to ensure compliance with the sanctions, with the support of the person in charge of managing the space and the coexistence committee.
Rights, Duties, Obligations and Prohibitions of Visiting Community Members at the Community Center
Community Rights
The community may exercise the following rights: Participate and collaborate in different activities or events promoted by the community and organizations wishing to use the Community Center.
• Have dignified spaces for recreation and healthy coexistence.
• Have adequate communication channels to address their grievances.
• Use the different spaces of the Community Center with prior arrangements.

• Carry out cultural activities in the Community Center with prior scheduling.
• Participate in the Board of Directors of the Community Center.
• Participate in periodic reports and accountability processes.
• Participate in the election of the manager of the Community Center.
Community Duties
Visitors and the general community benefiting from the Community Center also have the following duties:
• Have a sense of belonging to the Community Center, which is for the enjoyment and healthy recreation of the community.
• Show respect for the Community Center, visitors, and the general community.
• Take care of the Community Center, its furniture, and belongings; keep it organized and clean.
• Comply with the established schedules.
• Respect the ancestral culture and promote its preservation.
• Adhere to the appropriate dress code for the place.
Visitors' and Community's Obligations
Visitors and the general community benefiting from the Community Center, in addition to their rights, must comply with the following obligations:

Conviviality principles
Promote cordiality and a spirit of collaboration, observing good manners and honorable conduct within the Center, and refraining from acts that undermine the tranquility, health, and morality of the center's visitors.
Community engagement
Respect each and every person who visits the Community Center.
Care and maintenance of the physical infrastructure of the Center
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, when necessary, periodically, as outlined in the Usage Manual.
Cleanliness
of spaces
Help maintain the different areas of the Community Center clean and organized.
Waste management
Take care of the plumbing systems, gas ducts, and sewage pipes, avoiding the introduction of objects that may cause damage or blockages, and prevent their rupture. Immediately report any abuse by third parties. Also, contribute to the proper waste management according to the available social and community infrastructure, applying applicable environmental awareness practices in the area.
