ALL-GIRLS Advantage

AT PRESENTATION, GIRLS SHINE.

Research — and our own experience — continually show that female-focused schools empower girls to thrive without barriers or distractions. The result: bold, capable, self-assured young women who excel academically, athletically, and socially.

We’re intentionally sized and structured so each girl may be known, heard, and feel valued. We offer endless opportunities for individuals to shine, within a vibrant and spirited community of her peers.

“Going to an all girls school has provided me with newfound friends who I have developed strong relationships with. I believe that the traditions at an all girls school develop a lifelong sisterhood of support and friendship. Presentation has let me unapologetically be myself, and build my self-confidence.”

- BROOKLYN B., ‘28

“We were hesitant at first, wondering if an all-girls high school environment would be best for our daughter, both academically and socially. She convinced us that Presentation High School was the right fit for her. And she was right! She had an amazing freshman year and thrived in more ways than we could have hoped for. She has grown more confident, curious, and independent and we are excited to see what the future holds for her in the coming years!”

- GIAN C., PARENT ‘27

COMPARED WITH PEERS AT CO-ED SCHOOLS, GIRLS IN FEMALE-FOCUSED ENVIRONMENTS:

ARE 6X MORE LIKELY TO MAJOR IN STEM FIELDS.

93% say they are offered greater leadership opportunities than peers at co-ed schools.

99% of alumnae feel empowered and take pride in being a woman.

87% say their opinions are respected (compared to only 57% of girls at co-ed schools).

Are twice as likely to earn a doctoral degree.

Pres students develop deep bonds of sisterhood that remain with them for life. By cultivating a space where girls celebrate, support and challenge one another, we prepare them to become capable global citizens, and leaders with a servant’s heart.

LEARNING Into Action

REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCES. LIFELONG MEMORIES.

At Pres, learning isn’t confined to the classroom. We believe in experiences that bring knowledge to life— whether it’s exploring a new city, applying classroom skills in the real world, or seeing a subject from a fresh perspective.

From cultural immersion trips abroad to our all-school Learning in Action Day across the Bay Area, our students are encouraged to follow their curiosity, stretch beyond their comfort zones, and discover what lights them up.

LEARNING INTO ACTION DAY

Each year, every Pres student will step outside the classroom for a day-long, off-campus adventure—choosing an experience that sparks her curiosity and expands her perspective. Whether it’s hiking, horseback riding, exploring Alcatraz, or visiting local museums and aquariums, students will travel in small, staff-led groups to discover new places, build independence, and put learning into action.

GLOBAL LANGUAGE & CULTURE TRIPS

For years, Pres students have expanded their world through immersive travel experiences. This year, they journeyed to Costa Rica, Italy, and France—practicing language skills, exploring new cultures, and bringing classroom learning to life. These trips blend history, art, and adventure, creating unforgettable opportunities for growth, discovery, and global perspective.

CO-ED Opportunities

We believe deeply in the lifelong value of an all-girls education—while also recognizing the importance of preparing students to confidently navigate co-ed environments both in high school and beyond.

Through thoughtfully designed programs, partnerships, and events, Pres students have the opportunity to collaborate, compete, and connect with peers from neighboring schools. These experiences foster confidence, adaptability, and communication skills—all while preserving the support and empowerment of our all-girls community.

DO WELL. BE WELL.

Our culture is specifically and thoughtfully designed to reveal each girl’s fullest potential as she dives into her dynamic, exciting high school years. Pres students engage deeply in learning and are immersed in fun, challenging experiences. They try new things. Discover new strengths. Perfect their talents.

Most importantly: they do well because they are well.

We take unique measures to support each students’ health and wellbeing. Our Wellness Center provides space to take a breather and reset when life feels overwhelming. Our Learning Commons is attended by an expert Instructional Librarian to guide and deepen their learning. We have a full-time Learning Specialist to provide additional academic support.

We know college application season can be a stressful time for seniors. That’s why we have three dedicated college counselors on staff, maintaining our region’s best student:counselor ratio for wholly personalized support. All Pres students benefit from one-on-one college counseling sessions and advice. By the time they graduate, our students are fully and meaningfully prepared for college — and all the amazing possibilities that come next.

Pres students have 126 academic courses to choose from, including 36 AP & Honors classes.

The Presentation Panthers have a tradition of competitive excellence in the West Catholic Athletic League, and continuously win WCAL and Central Coast Section championships. Our exceptional athletics program has produced Olympians, college stars and standout professional coaches — and our student athletes serve as ambassadors for Pres across the Bay area.

We infuse joy and camaraderie into every aspect of competitive and recreational athleticism. Our campus features unique and beautiful athletics facilities, including a gym, pool, softball field, and all-purpose field where our soccer, field hockey, flag football, and lacrosse teams play. Plus, we have a training facility that is open to all students to achieve their fitness goals.

In addition, we believe that success in athletics—and in life—requires more than just physical training. That’s why we take a whole-person approach to student-athlete development, offering regular team sessions that focus on mental resilience, nutrition, and wellness strategies to help students thrive on and off the field. Our weight and fitness room is open to all students after school, providing a welcoming space to build strength, confidence, and healthy habits.

LIVES OF FAITH & SERVICE

At Presentation, we create an inclusive environment where students grow in faith and serve others as they develop their unique potential. Our programs in Campus Ministry, Service and Immersion, and Religious Studies shape not just what our students achieve — but who they become.

We are a Catholic school that welcomes students of various backgrounds and beliefs. We believe in and promote respect and dignity for every person and faith, with classes that encourage critical thinking and explore the values that guide us. Our Religious Studies curriculum includes an exploration of Hebrew and Christian scriptures, Christianity and Catholicism, moral theology, social justice, and elective courses on spirituality, vocations, world religions, and women in the Church.

Service is central to who we are. Through handson service projects, immersion trips, and advocacy, students experience the deep rewards of helping others and begin to realize their ability to make a positive impact on the world. Additionally, our retreats, Masses, and service opportunities help students discover their purpose and recognize the value inherent in everyone they meet.
