, , alley Police personnel, and Central Arizona Fire and Medical staff were out and about on Tuesday, August 6, visiting neighborhood parties during National Night Out. Everyone had a great time and the stormy weather didn't dampen any parties or spirits. There were 11 block parties across Prescott Valley spanning from StoneRidge, Viewpoint, and Quailwood. Thanks
The school year is back in session and the Prescott Valley PD had their first "Cops and Kids" event at Mountain View Elementary. These events give our officers the chance to have lunch with students and connect with our community's young citizens. This successful program is in its fifth year and has become a favorite event for PVPD officers and professional staff!
Big shoutout to Prescott Valley Police staff and Central Arizona Fire and Medical for their amazing work at a recent car seat check event! Together, they provided a total of 18 car seats to the public and checked over 35 car seats for safety. Not only that, they also helped dispose of over 20 expired or compromised car seats. Thank you for keeping our little ones safe on the road!
The Town Council is taking resident feedback to heart, following the release of a detailed report on the 2024 Community Survey. The statistically valid survey, launched in April as part of the Town’s Vision 2024 Strategic Plan, identified key areas of importance to residents, which will guide future initiatives and budget considerations. Details on these, and other community survey highlights, were shared at a study session on August 1. The study session and full community survey results are on our website.
The Town Clerk’s Office and Records Committee is excited to announce a new online service to streamline requests for public records, JustFOIA. This new platform allows the public to submit requests, track the status, make payments, and receive records all in one location. For staff, it will allow for easier routing and tracking of public records requests.
