This PLC is packed full of useful information on the following structures in a preschool classroom: curriculum, lesson planning, routines and transitions, experiences, appropriate materials, play and development, a child’s temperament, and the teacher’s role during free choice Participants will learn how to best work with and utilize each structure to then help enhance and create daily, powerful interactions with children! Teachers will leave with planning and organizational materials to use in their class, 60 transitions, outdoor activity ideas and a teacher apron!

CultivatingaCulturallyResponsiveProgram

This is NOT a training about race, but it is a series that details how building brain power in children is the first step in closing the achievement gap for underperforming culturally and linguistically diverse students Participants will use implementation strategies in their classroom to increase culturally responsive teaching, which will support in creating and building meaningful relationships. CRT is a tool that helps accelerate student learning while also making the experience of learning, equitable for all.

Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning During this series of workshops, participants will explore how play is the foundation of a child’s growth and development, and how every activity facilitates learning. Teachers learn healthy strategies for life’s everyday stressful experiences, and given new tools to use! What better gift to give children than to be able to pass down these useful life skills?! Teachers will also receive items they can use as reminders throughout their day and they will receive items to create a safe space for themselves!

Our world is ever-changing and leaders must learn to lean into differences among people and groups. This training is for leaders who want to learn to be more inclusive. Together, participants will examine the definition of culture, explore the work of administrators (interviewing and hiring, onboarding new staff, navigating everyday discussions, observing special celebrations and holidays, etc ) through a lens of inclusiveness Participants will be able to recognize their blind spots and discover a love of honoring diversity
