Chaplain helps to lift spirits JANUARY 2022

Growing gratitude

Daryl Madi, chaplain

Since September, Chaplain Daryl Madi has helped to ensure that Aberdeen Heights residents are healthy and well — looking particularly at the role spiritual health plays in overall well-being.

Residents, family and staff share their notes of gratitude and thanks on our thankful tree, on display in the entry area.

Expressions of thanks and gratitude are important any time of the year, but during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, our thoughts often turn to the people and things for which we are thankful. At Aberdeen Heights, we wanted to give residents, family members and staff an opportunity to express their gratitude and share those thoughts with others. Our thankful tree does just that! Each leaf on the tree is a written gratitude or note of thanks. The tree is placed in the main entrance for everyone to enjoy. u
