Volunteer gives manicures, listens to stories After her retirement, Jenny Taylor told her daughter she needed to find something to do. “She said, ‘We always need volunteers at Wichita Presbyterian Manor,’” Jenny recalled.

We welcome Becky to Wichita Presbyterian Manor.

Her daughter is Executive Director Courtney Wolfe. Their conversation inspired Jenny, who worked as a medical assistant for a surgical group before her retirement, to begin volunteering once a week in the community’s memory care neighborhood.

In January, Becky Thackery joined the leadership team at Wichita Presbyterian Manor as business office director. The married mother of three brings a wide breadth of senior living experience to her new role. A native of Hutchinson, Kan., Becky got her start in the senior living field as a housekeeper for the Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community in Buhler, Kan. For the past six years, Becky was
