are more successful than others, so when the nice people at Rochelle Adonis offered Daisy and friend Olivia the chance to learn how to make éclairs, macarons and truffles a school holiday cookery class, the girls couldn’t wait to get stuck in. Located on the corner of St Albans Avenue and Beaufort Street in trendy Highgate, Rochelle Adonis Cakes + Confections is Perth’s premier destination for cakes, confections, high teas, cooking classes, dessert degustations, bespoke wedding and celebration cakes, nougat and ice cream. Basically, anything sweet and delicious, this is the place to go. Firmly cementing itself as a household name in Perth, it’s fair to say that the Rochelle Adonis Cakes + Confections brand has become something of a treasured WA icon, well known for its incredible presentation and mouth-watering delicacies. When we arrive, there are about eight other mums, already sitting at a long, elegant table, while their kids get apron-ready for the tasks ahead. A supremely civilised way to spend an

hour or so, the grown-ups are treated to one of Rochelle Adonis’s delicious high teas, with precision-cut sandwiches, a little shot of the most intensely flavoured soup and, of course, pastries to die for. The class, which is suitable for 10 to 14-year-olds, is overseen by the Rochelle Adonis kitchen team, keen to share their expertise and tricks of the trade with primolife.com.au
