Dress Code Premier Auto Management strives to maintain a workplace environment that is well-functioning and free from unnecessary distractions and annoyances. As part of that effort, the company requires employees to maintain a neat and clean appearance that is appropriately “Business Casual” for the workplace setting and for the work being performed. Premier Auto Management believes that your pride in both yourself and the Company is reflected in your appearance and in the image you create. We feel that our business image is important and, therefore, request that our employees maintain standards of dress and appearance appropriate to both the organization as a whole and your individual position responsibilities. Dress, grooming, personal cleanliness and professional behavior standards contribute to the professional image we strive to present to our customers and visitors. Therefore, while performing duties for the Company, employees are expected to dress in attire appropriate to the business environment and to behave in a professional manner at all times to best represent our business. The standards of grooming and hygiene outlined below set forth the minimum requirements to which all employees are required to adhere to.

GUIDELINES SOLUTION SPECIALISTS SHIRTS– Location-designated company uniform polo shirts need to be purchased by new sales employees. The company will pay one half of the cost of the five shirts and the remaining balance paid by the new employee. This can be done through two payroll deductions from his/her first two paychecks. Salespeople are required to wear uniform polo shirts every day. You are expected to keep these uniform shirts clean and in good repair. If you want more than five shirts, you may purchase them from the HR Dept. at the full cost. Two paychecks deductions are also allowed on these purchases. The uniform polo shirts should preferably be worn tucked in and worn a belt. PANTS– These can be dress slacks, khakis, or other pants considered to be business casual and preferably worn with a belt. Denim trousers of any style or color are not to be worn. Shorts may be worn during summer months [April-October] and must be of the business casual type. Basketball shorts and other athletic type sport shorts are not to be worn. JACKETS– The Company will supply you with a company logo jacket at no charge that is to be worn over the uniform polo shirt. Please do not wear other sweatshirts, sweaters, hoodie jackets, or other types of jackets or coverings over or instead of the logo jacket. On those days when you may require additional warmth, please wear insulating or thermal layers beneath your polo shirt for additional warmth.

SALES MANAGERS, F & I MANAGERS, DESK MANAGERS SHIRTS- Managers can wear the company polo shirt in black, or he/she can choose the long sleeve logo dress shirt. The long sleeve logo dress shirt is the preferred uniform shirt during the colder months. Both style shirts can be purchased from the HR dept. The company will pay one half of the cost of the polo shirts and/or the long sleeve dress shirt option. This can be done through two payroll deductions from his/her first two paychecks. The long sleeve shirts are ordered as needed. The orange colored polo shirt is reserved for manager wear only. The long sleeve option is not available to Solutions Specialists and should only be worn by managers. PANTS– These can be dress slacks, khakis, or other pants considered to be business casual and preferably worn with a belt. Denim slacks or trousers are allowed provided the material presents a well-groomed appearance. Shorts may be worn during summer months and must be of the business casual type. Basketball shorts and other athletic type sport shorts are not to be worn.

LOT ATTENDANTS SHIRTS- Lot attendants will be provided with logo t-shirts at no charge. These t-shirts must be worn every day, in a clean condition and in good repair. If your company-provided uniform t-shirt becomes worn-out or comes into disrepair, see the Human Resources Dept. for a replacement at no charge. PANTS– These should be of a sturdy material including denim. Denim trousers that are overly distressed, worn out, bleached or otherwise present a shabby appearance, are not allowed.

BDC ATTIRE SHIRTS– BDC staff will be provided with a designated company-logo t-shirt. PANTS – Denim slacks or trousers are allowed provided the material presents a well-groomed appearance. During summer months, knee-length shorts can be worn. SKIRTS & DRESSES- Skirts and dresses should not be any shorter than 3 inches above the knee. Refer to “Inappropriate Clothing” on more guidance.

ADMINISTRATIVE ATTIRE Men: Men should wear business casual workwear consisting of slacks or khakis with clean & pressed polo shirts or dress shirt. Denim slacks or trousers are allowed provided the material presents a well-groomed appearance. Women: Women should wear business casual workwear which include slacks, dresses, skirts and blouses. During summer months, knee-length shorts can be worn. Skirts and dresses should not be any shorter than 3 inches above the knee. Refer to “Inappropriate Clothing” on more guidance. Denim slacks or trousers are allowed provided the material presents a well-groomed appearance.

Inappropriate Clothing Is: 

Clothing that does not fit correctly, too tight, too low cut, too loose or over-revealing.

Clothing that is faded, stained, discolored, torn, ripped, or frayed.

Halter tops, strapless tops, spaghetti strap tops, crop tops, short shorts, tank tops, gym, athletic, or workout-type clothes, such sweat clothes.

Clothes with offensive slogans, pictures or graphics

Clothes with political slogans, derogatory words, Nazi regalia, KKK regalia, gang colors, logos or advertisements for competitive products or services, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, or other products inappropriate for a workplace.

Undergarments worn in inappropriate ways.

General Hygiene: This means clean nails, teeth, hair, shoes, body, and clothes. Hair: Hair should be clean, combed, and neatly trimmed or arranged. Unkempt hair is not permitted. Sideburns, mustaches, and beards should be neatly trimmed. Non-traditional hair colors and highlights are permitted if the effect does distracted from employee’s otherwise groomed appearance. Make-Up: Make-up must be tasteful and conservative. Nails: Hands and nails should be clean and conservatively manicured. Jewelry: Employees may wear tasteful jewelry in moderation. The size and/or number of earrings, rings, necklaces, and bracelets may be determined at the department level based on specific job functions, operational, and safety factors. Where job duties present any type of safety risk, jewelry may be prohibited or severely limited. In other areas, moderate (including size and amount) jewelry may be worn. Tattoos, Piercing & Other Body Jewelry: Premier Auto Management allows for reasonable selfexpression unless: a) it conflicts with an employee’s ability to perform his or her position effectively or it conflicts with his or her specific work environment, or b) it is regarded as offensive or harassing toward co-workers or others with whom Premier Auto Management conducts business or has contact with employees. The Company permits employees to wear jewelry or to display tattoos at the workplace within the following guidelines. Factors that management will consider to determine whether jewelry or tattoos may pose a conflict with the employee’s job or work environment include: 

Personal safety of self or others, or damage to company property;

Productivity or performance expectations;

Offensiveness to co-workers, customers, vendors, or others in the workplace based on racial, sexual, religious, ethnic, or other characteristics or attributes of a sensitive or legally protected nature.

If management determines an employee’s jewelry or tattoos may present such a conflict, the employee will be encouraged to identify appropriate options, such as removal of excess or offensive jewelry, coverings of tattoos, transfer to an alternative position, or other reasonable means to resolve the conflict. As an initial step toward resolution of any complaint or offense regarding tattoos, piercing or body jewelry, supervisors and managers will be responsible for explaining the policy and answering employee questions. If an agreeable solution cannot be reached at this stage, the human resource manager will follow company procedures to resolve the issue. Fragrances: Heavy use of colognes, perfumes, aftershave, or lotions is not acceptable. Airborne irritants in fragrances can trigger asthma, allergies, migraines, and other health issues. Employees should use scents or fragrances sparingly. Hats & Head Coverings: Hats will be limited ball caps with the Company approved logo. The Company will provide all salespeople with one logo ball cap and will cover one-half the cost. These ball caps must be worn only when clean and in good repair. Hats must be worn front facing at all times. Footwear: Shoes should provide protection during the work day. They should be comfortable for you work duties, clean, in good repair and sturdy enough to offer you support throughout the day. Shoes described as “flip-flops” or beach-type footwear is not acceptable. EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY: Premier Auto Management LLC understands that in certain situations, the Company may need to make exceptions to this policy based on an employee’s religion, disability, or other characteristics protected under federal, state or law. In accordance with all applicable laws, the Company will make every effort to provide reasonable accommodation to the employee requesting it unless doing so would cause an undue hardship on the Company. Questions regarding appropriate workplace attire should be directed to your manager or the HR Manager. As an initial step toward resolution of any complaint or offense under this policy, supervisors and managers will be responsible for explaining the policy and answering employee questions. If an agreeable solution cannot be reached at this stage, the human resource manager will follow company procedures to resolve the issue. DISCIPLINE: Continued or frequent departures from these guidelines will not be permitted and employees who appear for work inappropriately dressed or groomed repeatedly will be subject to disciplinary action. Any staff member who does not meeting attire or grooming standards set by his/her department will subject to corrective action: 1ST INCIDENT: Your manager will give you a verbal warning and will then ask you to return home on your own time to correct the attire and/or grooming issue and return to work. No written warning during the first incident. 2ND INCIDENT: Your manager will ask you to return home on your own time to change the attire and/or grooming issue and returned to work. You will receive a written warning; to be placed in your file. Page | 77


DISCIPLINE (continued) 3RD INCIDENT: Your manager will send you home and you will be suspended for one day without pay. You will receive a written warning; to be placed in your file. 4TH INCIDENT: Your manager has the option of termination.
