Age 3-6 with Leslie Gossett, Be You Yoga and Mindfulness for Families & Children This week is all about exploring yoga and mindfulness. Through stories, games, music, play, and art, we will learn about poses, breathing, and our five senses. Children will be led through engaging movements and activities in an environment which supports their ability to thrive. Please bring a Yoga Mat, Water Bottle, Comfortable clothes which allow your child to move freely. LAB FEE: $5 payable on 1st day to Leslie. CODE

FUN ART & YOGA CAMP

Age 5-10 with Karin Sargis, certified Children’s Yoga Instructor The summer week is filled with creative art projects including stringwrapped vase, sharpie tie-dye T-Shirt, canvas painting, creating a collage, working with clay and more by using different art materials. Kids will stretch like tigers, roar like lions and fly like butterflies during their yoga exercise. Please dress kids accordingly as they get messy. Bring your own yoga mat but spare mats are available. Lab fee: $10 payable to instructor at 1st class. $256/ $236 Resident Discount CODE

JUNIOR FIRE ACADEMY

Age 11-15 with the Redwood City Fire Department Staff Ever dream of being firefighter? Well stop dreaming and start doing at the Junior Fire Academy! Participants develop life long skills not only learning about emergency preparedness, but also how to work together to accomplish tasks. Taught by professional firefighters, participants learn skills including: First Aid, CPR, exit drills, fire extinguisher use, disaster preparedness, and home safety. In addition to the practical skills they can use everyday, participants learn what its like to be a firefighter by extinguishing fire with fire hoses, proper lifting techniques for moving ladders and hose, hose management, and they even get to climb the 100 foot tall ladder! All activities are optional, but positive, encouraging attitudes are not. This is a great opportunity to explore a day in the life of a firefighter!
