STRATEGIC THEMES + OBJECTIVES

THEME 1:

Rebrand and develop our children’s and youth ministries for spiritual and numerical growth.

• Objective 1: Identify children’s ministry advisory team who will identify and address easily resolvable gaps in our overall children’s programming.

• Objective 2: Create a nursery for 0-5.

• Objective 3: Establish a children’s discipleship curriculum that can be applied in both church and home.

• Objective 4: Secure a Children and Youth intern who creates the framework for the children’s ministry.

• Objective 5: Secure a paid Youth Pastor/Director.

• Objective 6: Integrate children and youth in our virtual experience, including our social media platforms, Facebook, and sponsored ads.

THEME 2:

Expand the spiritual, financial, and physical gifts of the church.

• Objective 1: Integrate the ministry of prayer across all aspects of congregational life.

• Objective 2: Identify leaders for every ministry.

• Objective 3: Develop a clear process for training leaders to serve.

• Objective 4: Spotlight ministries throughout the church in signage, etc.

• Objective 5: Conduct ministry fairs twice a year.

• Objective 6: Galvanize the church to support our high impacts Sundays.

• Objective 7: Conduct quarterly reviews of numerical and financial trends.

• Objective 8: Celebrate “Andrews” yearly. An Andrew is a person who brings someone to Jesus.

THEME 3:

Leverage the use of our facility.

• Objective 1: Appoint a leader to create a packet for persons wishing to use or rent our physical space.

• Objective 2: Beautify the additional properties of our church.

• Objective 3: Execute the design plan for Simpson property.

• Objective 4: Collaborate with planners and developers about the use of our McLemore properties.

• Objective 5: Begin renovation of the church building, working from a list of priorities.

THEME 4:

Create a welcoming atmosphere of love and appreciation.

• Objective 1: Train the Hospitality ministry.

• Objective 2: Develop additional welcome gifts for first time worshippers.

• Objective 3: Create a swag shop.

• Objective 4: Design a permanent “hospitality area” consisting of a coffee bar and tables.

• Objective 5: Conduct monthly social media campaigns on all our digital platforms.

THEME 5:

Prioritize outreach and witnessing.

• Objective 1: Develop relationships with the apartments near our church.

• Objective 2: Establish an outreach team to promote church in the community.

• Objective 3: Schedule at least 10 outreach events yearly.

• Objective 4: Create a physical and digital outreach packet for members to use.

THEME 6:

Innovate evangelism efforts to modernize outreach and enhance effectiveness.

• Objective 1: Implement a digital evangelism strategy, including bi-weekly social media campaigns, targeting 1,000 online engagements per month.

• Objective 2: Develop a monthly podcast series addressing contemporary Christian living, aiming to gain 500 unique listeners within the first six months.

• Objective 3: Launch a mobile app with church resources, prayer requests, and service information, with a goal of 500 downloads in the first quarter.

• Objective 4: Train 20 church members in digital evangelism, achieving 80% engagement in online evangelistic activities within the first year.

• Objective 5: Host quarterly evangelism events that incorporate creative technologies (e.g. virtual reality church tours), reaching 300 in-person or virtual participants per event.

THEME 7:

Develop leadership by training 10 new leaders and establishing ministry succession plans for each ministry.

• Objective 1: Identify 10 potential leaders within the congregation by the end of the first quarter and enroll them in SERVE.

• Objective 2: Ensure each of the 10 leaders completes three ministry-specific workshops, each assessed by a skills-based evaluation.

• Objective 3: Create succession plans for 100% of existing ministries, with formal documentation submitted by the ministry heads and reviewed by the leadership team.

• Objective 4: Assign each new leader to a ministry shadowing role, achieving 90% engagement in leadership responsibilities within six months of completion of training.

• Objective 5: Conduct annual leadership reviews to assess effectiveness, with 80% of new leaders demonstrating competency in ministry functions by the end of the year.
