From draft suds to small-batch spirits, you’ll find several breweries and distilleries in Greater Palm Springs that give a whole new meaning to the word “craft.” After all, sipping a chilled one by the pool and under the palms is in our DNA. Pair an awardwinning ale with tangy barbecue at Babe’s Bar-B-Que & Brewery, enjoy an IPA on the outdoor patio at La Quinta Brewing Co. in Old Town, or grab a pint at Coachella Valley Brewing Company , where beers are made using local citrus, honey and herbs.

If I am having an outdoor event or activity, what should I expect the weather to be like?

The average number of days of rain in Palm Springs are around 5. Even on those days, rarely does it rain for the full day. The biggest challenge is the heat in the summer starting late May and lasting through end of September, and potential for wind. PRA recommends weather backups for all outdoor events, in the event of inclement weather.

Where is the “Wow” venue in Palm Springs?

Palm Springs’s “wow” venue is the former Dinah Shore Estate in the heart of Palm Springs. This iconic, MidCentury home was designed by renowned architect Donald Wexler in 1964 and is a great venue that reflects the architecture and celebrity lifestyle Palm Springs is known for.

What is a typical transfer time to an event or activity?

Since Palm Springs is situated in a valley, most in-town activities are no more than a 20-25 minute transfer.

What are Palm Springs’s top activities for groups?

Palm Springs is famous for the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway that is the largest rotating aerial tramway in the world. More popular activities are hiking the unique Joshua Tree National Park, golfing in Desert Springs Gold Club, and taking an architecture tour.

•The Palm Springs Convention Center is a 245,000 sq ft convention center located in downtown Palm Springs, California.

•Located 1.5 miles from the Palm Springs International Airport, the Palm Springs Convention Center is walking distance to 1,600 hotel rooms and just blocks away from the Heart of Downtown and historic Palm Canyon Drive.

•Architect William Pereira designed the original building in 1974.

•In 2005, the Convention Center completed a massive expansion, adding over 100,000 sq ft.

This educational eco-tour focuses on the history of the late 19th century mining era and the settlers of the Indian Tribe who lived off the land and made the valley their home. Ways to Give Back, Locally

• People competing in short, fast-paced physical and mental challenges to win bicycle parts, and ultimately build bicycles to donate to the local children’s charity – Boys + Girls Club Palm Springs.

• Once the bikes are assembled, we tally the points and announce the winning team. We then have the winning team formally donate all the bicycles.

This high energy event will have guests participating in fun and hilarious games, while winning the parts to build bicycles that are donated to children at local Boys + Girls Clubs!
