Local Youth Initiative for Global Warming

Global warming and the environment have been “hot” topics for several years. With a little help from each of us, we can make a change! The most important population to “drive” this home is our youth.

Ready, Set, GO GREEN!

This race showcases the importance of recycling, alternative energy, and green transportation. The goal of the event is to make a worthy donation to a local school or afterschool program. Although there will be a “winner” of the teambuilding activity based on performance during the program, the real winners are the school children who receive the solar cars built by your teams, along with brand new solar car kits they can assemble themselves. The solar cars made during the event, along with brand new solar car kits will be donated to a local school.
