The Estes Park Newcomers Club is a nonprofit, inclusive social club dedicated to helping new residents to the Estes Park area learn about our community while developing lifelong friendships. Founded in 1965 with 17 members, Newcomers has a legacy that has spanned over five decades. Today, there are over 300 active members who enjoy a variety of club sponsored activities including monthly General Meetings and Wine & Cheese socials.
Interest Groups are “the straw that stirs the drink” for Estes Park Newcomers. With groups ranging from Food and Drink, Book Clubs, Game Nights, Hiking,

and Photography. There are daytime and evening groups; groups for men and women; groups that gather during the week and others that meet on weekends. Interest Groups are a great way to meet and have in-depth interaction with people who share your interests, and are the basis for the lasting friendships that are the hallmark of Newcomers.
While we are a social club at heart, Newcomers are always looking for ways to support residents, businesses and non-profit organizations in the Estes Valley. Our signature community outreach event is “We Believe” which coincides with the annual holiday events in Estes Park. Newcomers march in the Catch the Glow parade, take photos of children with Santa at the We Believe Inn and visit various events around town. Dressed as elves and toy soldiers, our members cannot be missed.
At Newcomers, “living well” means staying connected with the community while staying healthy. Over the past few months, many of our events have been postponed as we adhere to the state and federal health guidelines. However, consistent with our legacy, Newcomers always stay connected. Through use of video conferencing technologies, many of our Interest Groups have remained active which has helped our members through these unusual times.
We are excited to announce that toward the end of summer, Newcomers will start reinstating some in-person activities. We will strictly adhere to the guidelines provided for group size, masks and social distancing. By keeping our group sizes small and focused largely on outdoor activities, Newcomers is helping our members to live well.
