RMNP hopes forareturn to normalin2021
By Tim Mosier Trail-Gazette
Ifthereisone thing that the coronavirus pandemic can not change, it is the beauty and grandeur of Rocky Mountain National Park. While many details are still up in the air,the park itself is not going anywhere and access to the revitalizing trails in the park will not be restricted unless something dramatically changes in the coming months.
“So much is unknown for next spring and summer that Iamunableto speculate on ouroperations. We areall hoping for a‘normal’ year,” said RMNP Public Information Officer Kyle Patterson.
“Wewill follow current public health guidance and recommendations, whatever they may be.”
One thing is for sure, the timed entrypermit system was necessaryinkeeping the park open over the summer, but many willbeplease to know that thereare no plans to permanently implement the system. See RMNP,pg. 19
