The Estes Park Event Complex offers multi ple venues throughout town. From the largest cov ered space in Estes Park to the most private garden, the Town of Estes Park has the space for your next event.
The Estes Park Event Complex is centrally located approximately a half mile from downtown Estes Park and the river walk at Stanley Park, one block south of Hwy 36 just as you drop down into Estes Park and drive between beautiful Lake Estes
This expansive event space is formerly known as the Fairgrounds at Stanley Park and is known for the summer equestrian events. The entire facility encompasses 42 acres of open space, including two large scale multipurpose event buildings, the Event Center and the Pavilion (together totaling 45,000 sq. ft , with 42 spaces for vendor RV parking), five horse are nas and a 2,000 person grandstand arena (complete with concessions and ticket booths).
The multi purpose event space is great for festivals, car shows, concerts, expos and trade shows, indoor sporting events and national dog shows! There is almost no limit on the size or type of event that can be held at the Estes Park Event Complex.
Commercial events are also held in the heart of downtown at Bond Park. There’s never a dull moment at Bond Park! This open space hosts events of all sizes throughout the year, includ ing countless open markets and Rocky Mountain festi vals, like Elk Fest, Big Foot Days, and other interactive events. A fully equipped con

Another concert venue is Performance Park, an open air amphitheater set against a steep mountain that’s remi niscent of the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater. Perfor mance Park is flanked by Fall River on both sides, just one block west of the Water wheel on Elkhorn Ave nue. When artists and per formers aren’t filling the mountain air with music, Per formance Park’s steep moun tain backdrop is a favorite for a quick climbing lesson on
A restroom facility is locat ed adjacent to the parking lot that accompanies this venue. Across the street is another venue available to rent, called Mrs. Walsh’s Garden.
The garden’s gate opens to a small reception area with several paths that lead through a botanical adven ture. The paths include fully detailed informational sig nage and the garden is fully fenced to keep this hidden gem protected from deer and elk looking for a tasty nibble. Mrs. Walsh’s Garden would
make for a memorable set ting for a wedding ceremony or a small social gathering Ideal for its convenient loca tion.
For a larger wedding venue look to the O’Connor Pavil ion, where the natural sur roundings set the stage for gorgeous ceremonies. The site is among a forest of pines, aspens, and an elegant section of Fall River. There are two options for wedding ceremonies; Aspen Meadow and Deer Mountain Meadow, both with a dramatic moun tain backdrop
The O’Connor Pavilion is located five miles west of downtown Estes Park, and backs up to the Rocky Moun tain National Park. Marrying natural beauty and outdoor comfort, the O’Connor Pavil ion can accommodate up to 140 people seated at once with restrooms, lawn games, a fire pit, electricity. It is also handicap accessible
Large groups can also con sider the large indoor/out door at The Estes Park Con ference Center. It offers a conference and social event space, and is often rented to
In the heart of downtown, on the banks of Fall River stands the iconic white tower known as the Historic Park Theatre. This single screen theatre was estab lished in 1913 and remains the oldest running theatre in the nation!
The classic elements of tra ditional cinema remain as well, from the beautiful red velvet accents to the reel to reel film projector, which is on display next to their baby grand piano. Before films included sound, the piano was played during the show and can accompany your events today!
The theatre is small and cozy but still manages to include all the necessities for a fantastic party! There is a full kitchen, full bar, helpful staff, and room for parties of up to 224 people. Not to men tion great photo opportuni ties!
Take center stage and add your own history to the His toric Park Theatre! Rental packages start at just $300 with add ons available like live music, use of the projector, meal arrangements or the sound system for a great event.
If you are interested in reserving an area for your group in the heart of down town the Theatre is a great place, or for a relaxed out door space, The Slab is a huge open outdoor patio, adjacent to the Theatre at 116 E Elkhorn Ave
The Slab serves beer and hosts live music in the sum mer and also has accommo dations for large group par ties With some simple decor this can be a really fun area for rehearsal dinners, family
reunion BBQs, or other meet and greet events. Starting at $13 per person for catered meals and a low rental fee of $400.

Joe Pyle / Courtesy photosThe community of Estes Park always rises to the challenge of wel coming new faces and giving gratitude to those that served What is especially important is recognizing those who consistently gave back to the community, which is why we toast the Rambeau family, who owned Rambo’s Longhorn Liquor store since 1975!
We welcome the Bajwa fam ily, who officially assumed the operations on July 22. The Bajwas are Ruby and Raj the parents of Amninder, their son who will also be manag ing the store. The family owns two gas station conve nience stores in Denver, but they have found a home in Estes Park
“We have been living in the valley, where life is so face paced, the reason we bought Rambo’s Longhorn Liquor store is so we can be part of a community where we can get to know people on a first name basis, and build our family here with people who know and care about us,” said Amninder.
For the last few weeks the Bajwa’s have been meeting the regular customers as well as plenty who are just visiting. Amninder said that they have already begun to feel like family by how friendly and inviting everyone has been.
“Everyday a lot of people come in and ask how Matt and Cristie are, sometimes they ask for Diane too. We’ve really enjoyed seeing that there are so many people that know each other on a first name basis, because that’s why we wanted to move to a small town like Estes.”
The Bajwas had visited
Estes Park in the past, but it seems like the environment created by the Rambeaus is really what drew the Bajwas to live and work here That is thanks to their day in and day out efforts and knowledge able recommendations as well as their consistent com munity engagement.
So as the fashion requires of small town etiquette, get to know the Bajwas; don’t just reminisce about Diane, Matt and Cristie, as much as we appreciate them for how much they cared, let’s cele brate Estes Park Longhorn Liquor as a great opportunity for a great family to join the traditions of community events, whether those are focused on libations or not!
Longhorn Liquor will con tinue to serve group parties in bulk as well, just email sales@longhornliquor.net to inquire. For Wedding parties bulk orders will be discount ed for that special day.

While these inclusions hold a compelling charm of their own, the main allurement of the room comes in the tower ing glass wall that serves as the backdrop for the ceremo ny. The transparent barrier gives a clear view to a pond and rock wall flowing water fall that sits on the other side of it, and on weather permitting days can open 90 degrees to bring a nature filled ambiance to the event.
Along with the amphithe ater, couples desiring to hold their ceremony outdoors have the building’s front bal cony and pondside pavilion lawn to choose from. Although these two spaces only accommodate crowds of 40-50 guests, they allow for an exceptional view of the Rocky Mountains and make for per fect small-scale ceremonies.
When it comes time for reception proceedings, the ground-level Willow Ballroom and second floor Aspen Ball room give wedding parties all the room they need to commence their marriage cele bration in comfort.
With 8,000 square feet of sweeping hardwood floor between them, the two rooms can accommodate approxi

The Stanley provides guests with their own bar tenders and liquor items for the reception portion and
with a newly added feature to all of their reception venues, clients are free to use cater ers and vendors of their choosing as long as they’re licensed and fully insured.
