Grand Lake, Granby, Kremmling, Hot Sulphur Springs and Winter Park/ Fraser of fer visitors a welcoming experience in the mountains. A variety of local shops, restaurants and dining oppor tunities create a unique western experience that can be found nowhere else.

With sunshine-filled days and moderate weather, summer is the optimal time to experience the magic of Grand County. From festivals to boating and much more, here are five bucket list items to inspire an adventure-filled summer: 1. Lakeside camping

Granby is home to the third largest body of water in Colorado. There are many ways to experience Lake Granby, including camping on its shores. Wake up to clear, tranquil waters and blue skies when you camp at the Arapaho Bay Campground or any other lakeside campsite. During the day get out on the water and at night experience star-filled skies with visibility for miles. There’s nothing more serene than lakeside camping in Grand County.

Raft, kayak or paddleboard through these scenic and dramatic canyons for a thrilling summer experience. 3. Mountain biking

With hundreds of miles of trails and two downhill bike parks, mountain biking in Winter Park is bucket-list wor thy. Enjoy the solitude of the area by boating on its shimmering waters. And for an awe-inspiring experience, set sail at sunset to watch the light change over the mountains.
