The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District (EVRPD) is a taxing district in Estes Park that provides ser vices and amenities to residents and guests. EVPRD of fers a wide array of programming, activities and outdoor oppor tunities throughout the year for the entire family.
EVRPD is committed to providing you high-quality diversified fitness, recreation, social and educational oppor tunities. Your expectations will be met with responsive ser vice in a welcoming environment. By promoting recreation and wellness, we aim to enhance the quality of life for you and the community.
The COVID-19 pandemic has cer tainly impacted our operations, so please be aware that facility hours and of ferings are subject to change as we navigate these uncer tain times. However, we remain committed to our mission and will do our best to provide a wide range of recreational oppor tunities to the fullest – and safest – extent possible.
The Estes Valley Community Center, located at 660 Community Drive, is a onestop recreation facility of fering an indoor running track, weight room with free weights and selectorized machines, cardio equipment and group fitness room, multi-cour t gymnasium, classroom/par ty room and game room, lap pool (6 lanes, 25 yards), leisure pool with water slide, lazy river with interactive play features and even drop-in childcare while using the facility.
In 2020, EVRPD is excited to continue the management role of the Estes Park Campground at Mar y’s Lake and the Estes Park Campground at East Por tal. Staf f is working hard to improve infrastructure, amenities, ser vices, and your overall camping experience. If you are a returning guest to the campgrounds, we are looking for ward to ser ving you again in the upcoming season.

EVRPD operates two golf courses within Estes Park
The Estes Park 18-Hole Golf Course of fers a scenic backdrop to a par 71 golf course. The golf course is home to magnificent views of the Rocky Mountains. When you tee it up, you are surrounded by wildlife of all shapes and sizes, with elk being the most prevalent. The course provides a fair challenge to ever y skill level of golfer.
The Lake Estes 9-Hole Golf Course incorporates the Big Thompson River on the last four holes. The course, which is home to a herd of elk that are active during elk calving and elk rut seasons, is a great place for a scenic and quick round of golf. Disc golf is also available at this location and growing in popularity each year. Whether playing traditional or disc golf, after playing you’ll still have plenty of time to explore the boundless recreational activities in the Estes Valley. Lake Estes Marina
Access to the Lake Estes Trail makes the marina a per fect star ting point for your bike, skate or walk around Lake Estes. The Lake Estes Marina of fers boat rentals from one-passenger kayaks to 10-passenger pontoon boats. There is also a boat launching area. The marina is generally open from May through early October.
Depending on the weather and when the docks are installed, boat rentals usually start the first week of May. Operating hours are shortened in the spring and late summer according to weather patterns and demand. Bike rentals include a surrey-type pedal cart and cruiser bikes. Marina store
The Lake Estes Marina Store is open from March through the end of October. The marina store sells fishing licenses, fishing supplies, snacks, beverages and sun products to make your day on or around the lake more enjoyable. There is a small beach area for sand play, volleyball, horseshoes and picnic facilities, which makes the marina a great experience for the entire family. Marina pavilion
The marina pavilion is an open-air pavilion adjacent to the marina by the shores of Lake Estes. It boasts a spectacular view of Longs Peak and is an ideal venue for groups up to 120 people. The pavilion is available to rent between March and October. It can be rented for a half-day or a full-day. Tables, chairs, gas grills and electricity are available to use in the pavilion for a fee.
