Introducing New AI Banking System in Galle to Boost Community Financial Inclusion

In a significant step towards digital transformation and financial inclusion, an AIpowered online banking system was recently installed for three community empowerment organizations involved in community financing in the Galle District Thenewsystemaimstostreamlinefinancialoperations,enhancetransparency,and improveaccesstobankingservicesforunderservedcommunities.

The installation took place at the HELP-O office in Galle, marking a milestone in the organizations’ efforts to adopt cuttingedge technology for grassroots development. The initiative was made possible through the technical expertise andleadershipofMr.DilhanLiyanage,CEO of Rajida, a pioneering firm in fintech solutions.

Coordinated by Dr. Chathura Welivitiya, CEO of HELP-O, the program is part of a broader strategy to empower local communities by leveraging digital tools. “This system not only enhances efficiency but also ensures secure and accountable financial transactions for communitybasedorganizations,”saidDr Welivitiya
