PEARLY WHITE PAPULES ON SHAFT CAUSES, SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENTS PPP or Pearly penile papules are tiny, bean-shaped, skin or white-coloured protrusions that appear near the head of the penile shaft. They are bulged outgrowths that look like pimples. But these papules don't produce pus. Usually, they cause panic in men but they are actually harmless and is not a sign of any infection in the shaft. This condition is also called as “Hirsutoid papillomas�.

Prevalence of pearly penile papules in males Pearly white papules occur in 8 to 43 % of males usually after the onset of puberty. These papules are relatively common in males with an uncircumcised penis. However, they can occur in any male.
