PPPA Daarul Qur’an is a charity organization that dedicates itself to develop tahfidzul Qur’an based society in an accountable and professional way. Started in 2003, Ustadz Yusuf Mansur was committed to train new Al-Quran reciter in Indonesia so that he established AlQuran Reciter Training Program (PPPA – Program Pembibitan Penghafal AlQuran) Daarul Quran. He started with training few tahfidz students, and it grew to thousands of santri that are based throughout Indonesia. PPPA Daarul Quran started their activity to establish their big dream and vision from a small corner of Musholla Bulak Santri that is located next to the village cemetery. Since the beginning, PPPA Daarul Qur’an focused in the effort to build people’s awareness to return to Al-Quran by establishing programs to train Al-Quran reciters. By day, the movement and people’s awareness to create Al-Quran reciters continue to grow and therefore a strong and professional organization is needed. On 27 March 2007 in Balai Sarbini, Jakarta, PPPA Daarul Quran was officially introduced. It was
formalized with a notary certificate dated 11 May 2007. PPPA Daarul Qur’an established Pesantren Tahfidz Daarul Qur’an, Daqu School and University in different places as a education centre and AlQuran Reciter training centre. Aside from that, PPPA Daarul Quran has established programs that have the same purpose that is to glorify Al-Quran. One of the programs that become one of national and even international movement is Rumah Tahfidz. In dakwah and social program, PPPA Daarul Qur’an is also involved in building independence and welfare of Tahfidzul Qur’an based society. PPPA Daarul Quran provided scholarship, humanitarian aid, health, housing for the poor and people’s empowerment. People will continue to trust PPPA Daarul Qur’an as their partner to manage sodaqoh through its creative and down-to-earth programs. PPPA Daarul Qur’an will continue to evolve as a professional organization that is involved in the building the Tahfidzul Qur’an based nation.
