Nurse’s & CNA Weeks

To celebrate our nurses and certified nurse’s aides (CNA’s), a special display was created by the Recreation Therapy Department, with the theme “Creating and Nurturing Connections.” The Nurse and CNA of the Year awards went to: Jacqueline Romansky, LPN, Heather McLaughlin, RN, Robin Chase, CNA and Senquetta Kennedy, CNA.

Alzheimer’s Fundraising & Walk

Team PPH hosted a bake sale, Bocce Ball tournament, and campus walk to raise money for Alzheimer’s Awareness. We were able to raise over $1,500! Several staff members and their loved ones also participated in the official walk at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

Ukraine/Auxiliary Donation

The PPH Auxiliary, and PPH residents, donated $3,700 to the Ukrainian Educational & Cultural Center in Jenkintown, PA. The check was presented to Oga Mykhaylyuk, president of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America. The organization was most appreciative of the donation.

Active Aging Week

PPH residents and staff enjoyed celebrating National Active Aging Week (October 3-9, 2022) with an entire week dedicated to living out the wellness philosophy. A variety of events were hosted by the PPH Wellness Team.
