About us Grupel is an Omnisantos Group company, engaged in the manufacturing and rental of power gensets. Founded on January 7, 1976, has become over the years, the market leader in diesel generators produced in Portugal, with a share of production of more than 80% of the Portuguese market. The production unit is located in Aveiro (Portugal), having more than 24.000m2 area.

Grupel also has a strong international presence, especially in African markets, Europe, and Latin America, which currently represent about 70% of the turnover of the company. The Middle East and Asia markets are also in strong growth in our exports. We produce a wide range of power gensets equipped with high quality components. The company has long experience in the manufacture of this type of equipment, with powers between 8kVA and 3.500kVA, for the production of electricity. We also have a gas generating set range. Grupel power gensets can be displayed in chassis and soundproof (canopy), the control panel can be placed inside the canopy of the genset allowing manual and/or automatic start, enables in addition the operation of multiple gensets in parallel, or synchronized with the network. Our team has the know-how to perform in any type of plant, which includes both the standard gensets as well as customized solutions for any particular situation. The high level of demand from our customers, requires the company is equipped with the best and highest technical resources in order to be available to answer under the harshest conditions in the most diverse situations.
