After that the Indian certificate is attested by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India. The same service is provided by the Embassy of India in UAE by charging some fees. The certificate attestation process is very simple and straight forward. The applicant just need to mail the certificates to the address mentioned above and the MOIA will do the rest.    

 

The attestation process has to be done in the country where the document has been issued. For example, if you have a birth certificate issued in India, then you have to get the document attested in India itself. In case you have a secondary school certificate issued in India, you have to get the document attested in UAE. The same is true for all educational certificates, legal documents, and other kinds of documents. In fact, the laws and regulations regarding the attestation of documents depend on the country that issues the document. The documents issued in one country have to be attested in that country, even if the document is valid in other countries. The Indian certificate attestation means that the document is verified, and this verification is usually done in the foreign country. You can take your document to the respective Indian consulate for attestation. However, if the document has to be used in India or in the US or for other purposes, you might need to get two or more attestation seals. One of the most common seals used for this purpose is the Apostille seal.

The certificate attestation process is a simple and an easy process which should be done by the Indian Embassy in UAE. Indian attestation has to be done by Dubai consulate office. Certificate will be valid for one year and then expiry declaration has to be taken. For example, passport is issued in India on January and attestation done in Dubai Consulate. As the certificate is valid for only one year and passport is valid for 10 years, there is no reason to keep the attestation. On expiry of the certificate, it will be necessary to renew again. Indian origin certificate is the document required by NRIs or the persons of Indian origin to enter in UAE. The Indian origin certificate is required by the airport immigration officer.
