Article III (Formerly Article V) has the following changes: (1) adjusted board membership from 27 to 21 voting members, (2) Potomac Conference President serves as chair, (3) Extended list of board member qualifications. Article IV (Now includes: Governing Body and Other Committees). Article V (Formerly Article VI) now includes a section on Phone and Email vote. Article VI (Focuses on all Potomac Conference schools, including Local Constituency Schools and Conference Schools). Article VII (Separate Article focusing mainly on the Office of Education). Summary or Major Changes: 1. Combined the Board of Education Constitution and School System Policy into one document now referred to as: Constitution and Bylaws of the Board of Education. 2. Board membership reduced from 27 to 21 3. Board membership qualifications list expanded to strengthen the board and ensure a wider conference representation 4. Board of Education Executive Committee deleted 5. Curriculum Committee deleted 6. Added section on phone and email vote
