B.A Seobi Secondary School boasts with a 100 percent pass rate Mainganya. Since the initiation of Grade 12 in B.A Seobi Secondary School in Ikageng 2010 they have been the leading school made history with their 2013 matric re- with a pass rate of 96 percent. The school is situated in Extension sults by obtaining a 100 percent pass rate under the leadership of Mr Mike 7, is surrounded by the informal settlements and it is the only secondary school in the extensions. B.A Seobi Secondary School was established in 2007 and named after the late Mr Benjamin Atlholang Seobi, a philosopher and a former teacher and principal at Tlokwe Secondary School. Seobi should be smiling in his 6 Onderskeidings en toppresteerder: grave after the class of 2013 achieved a 100 percent pass rate in his honour as part of fulfilling his wish that he made in 2008 when he was honoured by having the school named after him. The school also received a special acknowledgement on Tuesday from the MEC of education, Ms Mmaphefo Matsemela, during the awards ceremony of the matric learners in Sun City. Matsemela said, “B.A Seobi’s achievement is an excellent example of how success can be linked to good leadership and discipline.” B.A Seobi’s best learners are Kagiso Tsimane, who passed all his subjects with more than 70 percent and got a distinction in life science; Refilwe Mokhwanazi achieved two

distinctions; Lucas Matlhatsi achieved a distinction in geography; Disebo Mokgatle has a distinction in mathematics; Thapelo Yona obtained three distinctions in English, life orientation and tourism, while Rosy Leeu achieved a distinction in Setswana.
Potchefstroom High School for Boys Best Achiever: Maleke Thapelo Motsikwa. Maleke achieved two distinctions with an average of 76,5%. As a matter of interest he was the youngest matric learner at the
school and only turned 17 in November last year. By the time of going to press the Herald have not yet received a photo of Maleke and could not get hold of him to discuss his future plans.
