So sê prof. Dan Kwgadi, visekanselier van die NWU, nadat ‘n pamflet wat die woorde “Kill the Boer, Kill the Racist, Kill Afrikaans “ bevat in verskeie badkamers op die Potchefstroom kampus versprei is. Volgens prof.

ANC rejects all racist utterances Dustin Wetdewich “We have seen the pamphlet and wholly reject it and its contents. We as the ANC are well-known as an organisation that promotes non-racialism,” is what Thabo Mosiane, chief whip of the ANC in the Tlokwe City Council had to say about the pamphlets found in bathrooms of the NWU, Potchefstroom Campus.

“We are the only organisation in the country with such a long history of advancing non-racialism. It is interesting to note that these pamphlets have surfaced during a by-election. We feel that this is a subversive movement trying to derail the liberation movement,” he said. Mosiane went on to say that the ANC calls on all Potchefstroomers to reject these pamphlets and racism in general.

DA Youth lodges complaint with Human Rights Commission The DA Youth lodged a complaint with the South African Human Rights Commission on the racist pamphlets that were distributed at the University of North West. The pamphlets in question obviously represent hate speech and an incitement to violence. It cannot be tolerated in a democratic society where the rights of all are protected. We condemn these hateful pamphlets and call on all NWU students to reject this nonsense.

We are requesting that the SAHRC investigate so that the responsible parties can be held accountable. We cannot tolerate racism of any form in our country, and certainly not on our university campuses. These actions are not conducive to building better race relations in South Africa. Students must be able to learn in environments where constructive engagement and cultural diversity are encouraged.

oorbly nie, want hulle is die grootste en meeste “racists”en Xolani Sikade in primary school, in history class we learned (many years ago) that the “Voortrekkers” bought land from the black people and paid them with cattle, THEY DID NOT JUST TAKE THE LAND!! Yes we are all humans and we live in “ a so called freedom” country” Freedom for who? We white people live in houses that we pay for. We pay for the land that our houses are build on (every month), we pay for water and electricity, our TV licences, school fees, tax. We don’t get it for free!” Rebecca Sekano Not every black person agrees with that... I believe in equality and that’s just not on... I’m just wondering when will there b peace in the world.
