To provide an impartial perspective on student progress, we incorporate outside standardized testing as a valuable tool in our evaluation process. These assessments offer objective data that complement our holistic approach to education, helping us tailor our teaching strategies to better meet the individual needs of our students. By integrating this external feedback, we strive to continuously enhance our learning environment, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

EXTERNAL ASSESSMENTS

At Post Oak School, we believe in using a variety of objective tools to measure and understand our students’ academic progress. We incorporate multiple standardized assessments, including the Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) for grades 3–8, as well as the PSAT, ACT, SAT, and International Baccalaureate (IB) assessments for our older students. These tools provide us with valuable, impartial data that we use to inform and refine our teaching practices, ensuring that we meet the diverse needs of our students and help them achieve their full potential.
