The conference venue is the The Simulation Centre, Cheetah Rd, Coventry, postcode CV1 2TL.
By railCoventry is on the main intercity route. Trains from London (Euston) leave every 30 minutes throughout most of the day with journey times of approximately 1 hour. In addition, there are frequent services to Oxford, Southampton, and Bournemouth, as well as Nuneaton, Rugby, Birmingham New Street and Birmingham International. Once you arrive at Coventry Railway Station, the conference venue is approx. 10-minute walk. A taxi rank is located directly outside the station.
By airBirmingham International Airport provides direct daily flights to and from many other European cities. On arrival, follow signs for the railway. A free shuttle car will take you to Birmingham International Railway Station, where train tickets can also be purchased from self-service machines. From here, trains are regular and usually take 10 minutes to Coventry Railway Station.
By roadCoventry lies at the heart of a motorway network, with fast trouble-free roads right into the City. Once you get to the City-centre there are signposts to the University and the Techno Park from all the relevant Ring Road junctions. The postcode for the venue is CV1 2TL.
From London: follow the M1, leaving it at Junction 17 onto the M45. At the end of the M45, continue along the A45 and follow the signs for the City-centre.
From southern England: take the A34 to the M40. Leave the M40 at Junction 15, then take the A46 and follow signs for the City-centre.
From the Southwest: take the M5, then the M42, leaving the M42 at Junction 6. Follow the A45 to Coventry. (From South Wales: follow the M4 to the M5, then as above).
From western Scotland and the Northwest: leave the M6 at Junction 2 and follow Citycentre signs.
From the North: take the M1 to Junction 21, then to the end of the M69, following signs for Coventry City-centre.
Parking is free for delegates in A and B of the Technocentre Car Park. Make sure you collect a ticket at the barrier, and get this authenticated at reception.
When you arrive at the venue, please make sure you register at the desk. There will be signage to the room, which is accessible. The room is fitted with microphones and speakers, but there is no hearing loop.

Refreshments and food will be provided throughout the day, in a room off to the side of the main conference room. All food is vegetarian and vegan. Special dietary requirements were requested on signup and have been catered for. If you are unsure as to whether your specific requirements have been met (or you need to make amendments), please do get in touch so that we can make sure you are catered for.
The event is not being live streamed or fully recorded. Please indicate to the person at the registration desk if you do not want to appear in any photographs taken (e.g. for social media) and we will make sure this is recorded on your lanyard (by way of a small sticker).
Luggage can be left with reception and the room has a coat rack for you to store items, but this will be at your discretion. If there is enough, a separate room for this will be made available. While items should be safe, luggage with reception is left there at your own risk.

12.00 - 12.15 Remarks from Taiwo Owatemi, MP
Taiwo Owatemi is the Labour MP for Coventry North West, having first been elected to Parliament in 2019. Owatemi served as Shadow Minister for Women and Equalities between September 2021 and September 2022. She is Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on the West Midlands. She created the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Erasmus+ after the government failed to provide formal reassurances that the UK will continue to participate in the scheme after leaving the EU. The APPG sought to create an open dialogue between universities, EU institutions and the UK government.

If you believe someone is violating the code of conduct, please report this to Dr Adrienne Evans, if you can, or alternatively please email ICC - Research research.icc@coventry.ac.uk with the following information:

Information about the incident and specific concerns.
Your concerns will be reviewed by the event organiser, Operations Manager and Director of the Research Centre (Centre for Postdigital Cultures) and any action to address and/or resolve the issue will be communicated within ten working days.
Incidents will be reviewed and if the code of conduct has been violated, the actions we take could include:
Removal from the meeting or event.
Restrictions from future meetings and events. Removal from mailing list.
