From Pre-K to Graduation: Nurturing Lifelong Learners
At Portledge, we often find ourselves in deep discussions about the gift of time— time for learning, growth, and caring. As a school spanning Pre-K through 12th grade, these discussions are particularly evident as we provide children with an interconnected educational journey within a close-knit community.
In today’s complex world, continuity is a rare gift. At Portledge, it is one of our greatest strengths. From a young child’s first experience in a warm and welcoming Pre-K classroom to walking across the graduation stage as a confident, knowledgeable individual, our students embark on a journey of discovery. Along the way, they are supported and challenged by educators who understand them beyond academic records, recognizing their interests, quirks, and innate potential.
As John Dewey insightfully noted, “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” We honor every dimension of that life, nurturing students as whole individuals by building confidence, empathy, and self-awareness.
Our school culture is framed by four pillars: Kindness, Honor, Purpose, and Respect. These values are not just words in assemblies but guide how we learn, interact, and contribute to the world. From the earliest years, students are encouraged to explore their purpose, lead with integrity, and treat others with dignity.
This extensive arc of learning supports not only what a child learns but who they become. Transitions between divisions
feel natural rather than disruptive. A familiar, supportive campus fosters meaningful relationships with younger students seeing role models in older peers who mentor and guide them.
Our world-class faculty delivers a curriculum grounded in the globally recognized International Baccalaureate framework. Beginning in 2025, the IB Primary Years Programme will join our existing DP, AP, and Singapore Math offerings, ensuring students develop critical thinking, ethical action, and global awareness.
Our partnership with families is equally vital. This partnership was never more apparent than over the 2024-2025 school year as we celebrated our 60th year. The myriad of events and celebrations reaffirmed our relationships grounded in trust and shared vision. Together, we guide children through growth and milestones.
When our graduates leave, they are more than ready for college; they are ready for what life and work may bring them. This continuity is the cornerstone of the Portledge journey.
It is an honor to accompany them on this journey.

LEARNING IS JUST THE BEGINNING:
The Start of the Portledge Journey
By Leigh DeMaria, Director of Early Childhood, and Saralyn Lawn, Director of Lower School

At Portledge, learning is just the beginning. No matter where you take your first step onto our campus, our students are surrounded by a nurturing community, guided by expert educators, and inspired to discover their passions. In the Early Childhood and Lower School years, curiosity and discovery are not just encouraged—they are the foundation. Our youngest learners are empowered to ask big questions, think deeply, and develop the confidence and skills that will support their academic journey and personal growth for years to come.
The opportunity to experience a PreNursery through 12th-grade education within one nurturing community offers children distinct and lasting advantages. In today’s fast-paced world, having a consistent, supportive place to call a “home away from home” is more valuable than ever. At Portledge, confidence, curiosity, and character guide every step of the journey.
In the earliest years at Portledge, achievement is rooted in confidence, nurtured through exploration, play, and the sheer joy of learning. Our youngest students quickly learn that their voices matter. Teachers listen carefully, honoring students' ideas and inspiring critical thinking, analysis, and agency right from the start, guided by the framework of the Primary Years Programme (PYP). World Day, a cherished Lower School tradition and a lasting memory for many Upper School students, is a perfect example of the interdisciplinary work that fuels the Lower School curriculum. This months-long project highlights student voice and agency through the exploration of global cultures, aligned with PYP themes. Each grade researches and presents a country—such as Australia, Egypt, or Jamaica—through interactive displays, performances, and
hands-on experiences. By shaping how they share their learning, students take ownership of the process, building skills in inquiry and presentation. This foundation in student-led learning supports future success in Middle School project-based learning, advanced coursework, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
Beyond the classroom, Portledge offers a rich variety of specials that spark growth in every direction. Pre-Nursery through fifth-grade students participate in physical education, art, music, drama, library, and world languages, with instrumental instruction beginning in fourth grade. These experiences ensure a smooth and confident transition into Middle School.
The commitment to community begins even before school starts, with Early Childhood teachers visiting students at home to build trust and comfort. On orientation day, Lower School families gather to explore classrooms and reconnect at the Welcome Back BBQ. Throughout the year, students share their learning through events like the third-fifth grade STEAM exhibitions, plays from Pre-K to fifth grade, and Morning of Reflections in
Early Childhood, where cross-curricular studies are led by student interest. Beloved traditions such as the Halloween Parade and Dance, bi-weekly assemblies, and Family Nights bring families together and foster a lasting sense of belonging.
Children at Portledge love coming to school—and we take pride in that. This is beautifully showcased each year at our Moving Up Ceremony, where every fifth grader stands proudly to deliver a speech to peers, families, and faculty, reflecting on their journey and looking ahead to the future. Middle and Upper School students are often spotted in the Lower School visiting former teachers just to say hello or share a proud moment, further reflecting the meaningful relationships that are formed in the Lower School.
Whether a family begins their Portledge experience in Early Childhood or later on, they are welcomed with warmth, supported with care, and empowered to thrive. Our youngest students grow into confident, compassionate leaders, ready to excel beyond our campus and to make a lasting impact on the world.

A DAY AT THE NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE
Eighth-grade students were immersed in the dynamic world of finance during their visit to the New York Stock Exchange. They explored the bustling trading floor, saw the iconic opening bell, and gained firsthand insight into the fast-paced environment where global markets come to life.

US SPANISH STUDENTS SEE “EL QUIJOTE”
“El Quijote” came to life for Señora Jang’s class during a New York City trip to El Repertorio Español. After studying Miguel de Cervantes’ literary masterpiece, students had the chance to see the story performed live, connecting their classroom learning to a dynamic, real-world experience.

STUDENTS EXPLORE ELIJA FARM
Ninth-grade students spent a day exploring sustainable farming practices at ELIJA Farm, a non-profit farm in South Huntington. Through hands-on activities in the fields, students learned about the farm’s environmentally responsible growing methods and its commitment to community wellness through education.

KINDERGARTEN VISITS THE NORTH SHORE ANIMAL SHELTER
Our Kindergarten students sparked a heartwarming all-school t-shirt drive, collecting shirts to make dog toys for the North Shore Animal Shelter in Port Washington. After gathering the shirts, the students visited the shelter to create the toys, bringing the whole school together and showing how kindness and teamwork can make a real difference.

DNA LEARNING CENTER AT COLD SPRING HARBOR LAB
Sixth-grade students visited the DNA Learning Center at Cold Spring Harbor Lab, where they participated in hands-on labs in state-of-the-art laboratory classrooms. The trip included a museum tour, where students learned about the history of genetics and the techniques used in genetics laboratories. They then applied this knowledge by conducting their experiments, making the world of genetics come to life.

THE COLD SPRING HARBOR WHALING MUSEUM
Third-grade students explored the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum, where they learned about whale biology, the history of whaling, and its significance on Long Island. They connected with the world of 19thcentury whalers by designing wooden sailing ships while discovering the science behind maritime innovations.
5TH GRADE
GAP BRIDGING THE

6TH GRADE
Preparing Students for Middle School
By Ryann Supple, Director of Strategic Communications & Marketing
One of the most critical transitions in education is the move from Lower School to Middle School, where students must build independence, confidence, and academic skills to prepare for the challenges ahead. In Lower School, students develop curiosity and discovery, laying the foundation for critical thinking. As they enter Middle School, character and confidence are cultivated, and they gain the skills to lead purposefully. Through thoughtfully designed courses like Perspectives and Study Skills, we equip students with the tools they need to succeed.
The transition from fifth to sixth grade is a pivotal moment in a student’s academic and personal growth. At Portledge, we recognize that this shift brings new challenges— greater independence, increased academic expectations, and evolving social dynamics. Our Middle School program is carefully designed to provide students with the skills, strategies, and confidence needed to thrive.
We begin the introduction process with an information night for fifth-grade parents in the spring, while fifth-grade students are paired with sixth-graders for a day, providing firsthand experience. “The biggest difference from fifth-grade to sixth-grade is that you have to manage yourself,” sixth-grade student Eliza W. says. “There are so many people here to help you, but you have more freedom.”
STUDY SKILLS: BUILDING A STRONG FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS
The Study Skills class helps students develop essential strategies for academic success, from how to stay organized and prioritize assignments to how the brain works in relation to learning, strategies that will benefit them in Middle School and beyond.
“Study Skills is all about helping students understand how they learn,” explains Study Skills teacher Elaina Schroeder. “It’s about
trying different strategies, seeing what works, and developing the confidence to navigate academic challenges.” The class incorporates enriching hands-on projects and activities. One engaging lesson, for example, incorporates emotional regulation with a fun activity called 1-2-3 Turtle:
1 Stop whatever you are doing or saying.
2 Go into your shell and think.
3 Come out and act appropriately.
“I try to make it interactive and fun,” Mrs. Schroeder says. “We either do a project or a little craft to enhance the lesson.” These approaches make learning more engaging for different types of learners and help them understand who they are as Portledge students. Sixth-grade student Hassan D. says, “Study Skills class is also really helpful, especially if you play sports. It helped with my time management, and I learned to pay attention to everything, not just the big things.”
PERSPECTIVES CLASS: LEARNING TO THINK CRITICALLY AND RESPECTFULLY
The Perspectives class focuses on building critical thinking, communication, and socialemotional skills. Through class discussions, structured projects, and thoughtful
reflection, students learn how to express themselves and their arguments clearly and using evidence, develop empathy for others’ experiences, and remain respectful of other points of view.
“Perspectives is more than just a class; it’s a space where students can discuss real-life issues, practice decision-making strategies, and engage in meaningful dialogue,” shares Perspectives teacher Danielle Reynolds. The course expands on students’ experiences with public speaking through debate and mock trials, giving them the confidence to express their thoughts while respecting different viewpoints. Hassan D explains, “Perspectives is more of a conversation. Everyone gets a chance to talk about what they’re thinking.” The skills learned in this class are valuable not only in school but in everyday life.
This intentional curriculum design, focusing on both social-emotional learning and how students learn, provides an unparalleled educational experience at Portledge.
BY SUPPORTING STUDENTS THROUGH EACH TRANSITION, WE ENSURE THEY DON’T JUST MOVE FORWARD—THEY EXCEL.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

Guided by
The College Counseling Journey
By Karen Crowley, Assistant Head of School and Director of College Counseling
The college process is a journey of self-discovery that begins with curiosity and conversation. While most logistics occur in 11th and 12th grade, our College Counseling team engages students as early as ninth grade, guiding them through academic, extracurricular, and personal exploration. Olivia Palatnik’s path to Tulane reflects this philosophy: early engagement, self-reflection, and goal-setting supported by a personalized, four-year approach. We help students find their best fit by encouraging honest introspection and thoughtful strategy, ultimately empowering them to present their most authentic selves and embrace the exciting possibilities ahead.

I can still remember Olivia’s eager smile at ninth-grade orientation. As college counselors, we strive to meet every incoming ninth-grader, making sure they know that they are welcome to come chat at any time. I saw Olivia frequently that year—in the hallways, the library, at lunch —watching her smile grow more confident over time, and I was thrilled to see her and her mom at our optional ninth-grade College Night that January.
Over her Upper School years, Olivia was fully engaged in our four-year College Counseling program. She attended the college nights and College Visit trip and had an initial college conversation with her Dean. During that conversation, she had some specific goals and questions, and so, at the recommendation of her Dean, she came to my office.
“I really want to go to Tulane,” Olivia told me. “Do you think I can get in?”
We discussed curricular choices, extracurricular activities, and summer plans within the context of her ambitious goals. Tulane had an acceptance rate of
about 10%—a reach, but potentially not out of reach with the right strategy.
By November of junior year, Olivia was the first to schedule her 11th grade meeting. By then, she was sure of her goals, “I want to apply Early Decision to Tulane,” she declared. From that point forward, we continued to collaboratively devise a strategy to reach her goal. We found a program in the Tulane summer offerings, Social Media as Socially Conscious Storytelling, that perfectly aligned with her intended major in Marketing. We aimed not only for her to excel in the course but to impress the professor enough to earn a standout recommendation letter.
That summer and fall, Olivia and I met regularly—at least ten times. We fine-tuned every part of her application strategy, paying particular attention to her Tulane supplement. Olivia was also able to make a positive impression on the Tulane admissions officer who came to Portledge’s campus in October to meet with our students. When Olivia pressed “submit” on her application to
Tulane, she did so with confidence in her application and our strategy, buoyed by the knowledge that she had crafted a compelling, authentic application that reflected who she was.
While Olivia’s story reflects our close relationship, it is not unique. Our goal in the College Counseling office is to help each Portledge student take advantage of the full four-year Portledge College Counseling program, work through a thorough and comprehensive, selfreflective, and personalized application process, and ultimately, be admitted to a college where they can maximize their individual potential and achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals.
I was overjoyed to receive Olivia’s “I GOT IN!” email when Tulane released her acceptance in December. Celebrating each student’s progress and success, no matter when or how it comes, is the reward that makes managing a stressful process each year more than worth every bit of effort, worry, and hope that accompanies it.

SISTER ACT: THE MUSICAL
The Portledge Upper School dazzled audiences with their spirited rendition of “Sister Act: The Musical,” performing five sold-out shows over an unforgettable weekend in April. Bursting with energy, heart, and humor, the production showcased the incredible talent, dedication, and teamwork of our student performers, musicians, and crew. With powerhouse vocals, vibrant choreography, and impeccable comedic timing, this show quickly became one of Portledge’s most beloved productions to date. The cast brought the uplifting story to life with passion and joy, earning standing ovations and rave reviews from all who attended.
The audience in the Black Box Theatre leapt to their feet in applause as the cast and crew took their bows following a series of incredible performances in April anchored by the leaders of the Upper School Theatre Department, Jason Dula and Courtney Balan. Joie J-P. ’25 delivered a stunning portrayal of Deloris, supported by a talented Upper School cast whose comedic timing and stage presence truly shone. This was undoubtedly one of their best performances yet.

Girls Varsity Soccer Team: Five-Time Champions, One Unbreakable Team
By Alayna Dinani ’27 and Neela Jarmon ’26
The Portledge Girls Varsity Soccer team demonstrated strength and perseverance throughout the season. Led by coaches Phillip Hills and Dan Giorgi, the team faced intense battles, but with every obstacle, they just emerged stronger.
Early in the season, the team faced a tough 2-0 loss against Rye Country Day School. Instead of allowing the defeat to dampen their spirits, the team used it as an opportunity for growth, rallying together with a renewed focus.
Their comeback was on full display throughout the rest of the season with victory after victory. But one game, late in the season, truly highlighted the team’s drive. Facing St. Luke’s, a team they thought might have the upper hand, Portledge claimed a hard-fought 1-0 victory. “They
didn’t owe us a win, we needed to make it happen, nothing was guaranteed,” said Coach Hills, and that is exactly what the team did, they made it happen.
With grit and determination, the team inscribed their name in Portledge history. The 2024-2025 Portledge Girls Varsity Soccer Team acquired its fifth consecutive PSAA Championship title, defeating the Stony Brook School. The team then advanced to the NYSAIS State Championship Semi-finals—the furthest ever in Portledge Girls Soccer history.
The season ended in the NYSAIS semifinals, with a tough 1-0 loss against Poly Prep Country Day School. Despite the game’s outcome, the season was a tremendous success. A large part of this achievement can be credited to the team’s dedicated seniors:
Madelyn “Maddy” J., Riley K., Kate “Kaz” V., Ella F., and Melina V. Noteworthy shout-outs to goalie Maddy J., who will continue her athletic career playing D1 soccer at Colgate University and Kaz V., who will play soccer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute next year.
THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT THE PORTLEDGE GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER TEAM LEAVES A PROFOUND IMPACT ON THE SCHOOL’S ATHLETICS PROGRAM AND A LEGACY FOR FUTURE ATHLETES TO FOLLOW.

Pushing the Pace: Portledge Cross Country on the Rise
By Neil Rigg, Associate Director of Communications
The Portledge Varsity Cross Country team turned heads this season with impressive performances demonstrating depth, dedication, and discipline. The Boys’ Varsity squad finished second overall in the PSAA, a result that speaks to the team’s steady progression and the groundwork laid over recent years. Meanwhile, the Girls’ Varsity team captured the PSAA league title—their first in several years—marking a milestone for the program.
Alumnus and current coach Zach Pilson ’12 reflected on the Boys’ team’s success with appreciation for his co-coach. “I give a lot of credit to Coach Ricci for laying the groundwork to build a strong team,” he said, underscoring the long-term vision shaping the program’s competitive culture.
At the forefront of the Boys’ team were standout runners Zach S. ’27 and Hugo H. ’27. Both consistently ran top times throughout the season and served as anchors in key meets. Coach Pilson praised Zach’s steady presence on the course: “He just has a very calm sense while he’s running, he never looks frazzled, he never looks out of breath, even when he is running hard.” That kind of mental composure, combined with physical endurance, set the tone for the rest of the squad.
Coach Pilson emphasized the team’s collective goals: “It’s important to get all the boys running in the top times.” That approach reflects a focus not just on individual excellence, but on team-wide
progress, ensuring every athlete is pushing toward their personal best for the good of the group.
Pilson, a former varsity runner himself, spoke to the unique demands of the sport. “There is no sport more difficult than cross country for this reason,” he said. “Every other sport, you can call a timeout, make a substitution, you can tell someone in the moment to try a different strategy. Once the gun goes off in a race, the runner is on their own.” His coaching philosophy centers on preparation, giving runners the tools they need before the race begins. “Each runner has to figure it out themselves when they are out on the course,” he added.
WITH BOTH THE BOYS AND GIRLS TEAMS POSTING STRONG FINISHES, PORTLEDGE CROSS COUNTRY HAS PROVEN IT’S A PROGRAM ON THE RISE, BUILT ON RESILIENCE, PREPARATION, AND A COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE.

PORTLEDGE EMPLOYEES
PRIORITIZE WELLNESS
Health and wellness have been a community-wide focus for Portledge over the last several years. One of the most meaningful initiatives to grow out of our Building, Learning, Leading Strategic Plan is the Faculty Wellness Committee, developed in alignment with Goal Four: Supporting and Sustaining the Adults in our Community. Now in its third year, the committee continues to expand, offering a wide range of wellness opportunities designed to support the health, balance, and connection of our faculty and staff.
From lunchtime yoga and morning HIIT classes to walking groups, massages, and even Tai Chi, the committee has created thoughtful, accessible programming that encourages employees to care for their own well-being—something educators often put on the back burner. “It’s a chance to shut off, even for just 30 minutes, and recharge,” Erica Tettemer, World Languages Department Chair and Chair of the Wellness Committee, shares. “If we can offer an opportunity for release every once in a while, it keeps people

happy, and then they bring their best selves to their work.”
These moments are not only restorative but also build connections across departments and divisions. This spring, new initiatives included a pickleball clinic, outdoor hikes, a “Panther Tracks” walking app, and more! The addition of personalized workout plans and peerto-peer accountability has increased participation and created routines that stick. “I started coming to HIIT once a week,” Holliday Harrigan, Upper School Math teacher, explains. “Now, I look forward to it—it’s become a part of my week, and I’ve met colleagues I’d never worked with before.”
Mike Powers, Head Athletic Trainer and Health & Wellness Department Chair, leads weekly HIIT classes for faculty and staff. “As a fairly new employee, it's been a great way to get more comfortable with the community,” he says. “It’s a way to engage with colleagues in a different way that leads to more collaboration elsewhere.”
THE WORK OF THE FACULTY WELLNESS COMMITTEE GOES BEYOND FITNESS; IT’S ABOUT CREATING SPACE FOR CONNECTION, MOTIVATION, AND SELF-CARE. EVERY YOGA CLASS, HIKE, OR GATHERING REMINDS US THAT A SUPPORTED ADULT COMMUNITY IS ESSENTIAL TO THE THRIVING OF OUR ENTIRE SCHOOL.

LOOKING AHEAD: TEACHER PD IN AI
Portledge School is committed to equipping its educators with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence. As AI continues to transform how teachers deliver instruction, assess student learning, and enhance their own professional growth, Portledge is investing in resources and training to ensure faculty are prepared to adapt and thrive. This summer, Science and Educational Technology Teacher
Robert Beaton took part in a course focused on the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and is eager to implement what he’s learned in the classroom for the 2025-2026 school year.

ROBERT BEATON, SCIENCE & EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY TEACHER
“The AI professional development course introduces educators to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its practical applications in education. We engaged in interactive presentations, explored real-world AI implementations, and gained access to tools and resources that facilitate AI integration into the curriculum. The course emphasizes AI’s role in solving real-world problems, promoting student engagement, and fostering critical thinking. It also helped to develop strategies to help students recognize AI’s presence in daily life and complete a hands-on, project-based unit applying AI to problem-solving scenarios.”

Building Dreams
WITH GREG PECK ’92

When Greg Peck graduated from Portledge School in 1992, he left behind more than just fond memories of classmates and dedicated teachers—he carried with him the foundational tools that would help shape a successful entrepreneurial career in real estate and hospitality.
Today, as a real estate investor and hotel developer working on high-profile projects in Los Angeles and beyond, Peck credits Portledge as a critical springboard to the life he envisioned for himself.
“When I think back, I see this beautiful little oasis—this sanctuary,” Peck reflects, “where the world felt safe and simple. The lessons were clear: work hard, be kind, and stay curious.”
Those lessons were the anchor that kept him grounded as he achieved success in college and beyond. Peck went on to attend Columbia University, a leap that might have seemed daunting at first. “I was intimidated at first—Ivy League! But it didn’t take long to realize how well Portledge had prepared me,” he says. “High School was, in some ways, harder than college. That discipline stuck with me.”
While at Portledge, Peck helped start the golf program with support from then-college counselor Mr. Jennings, played tennis, and wrote for the first rendition of the Portledge Press. “I tried to be as involved as I could.
“PORTLEDGE HELPED ME SEE WHAT WAS POSSIBLE. IT OPENED DOORS BY EXPOSING ME TO SUCCESS, DRIVEN PEOPLE, AND OPPORTUNITY. I THOUGHT ‘I WANT THAT TOO.’ IT WAS MOTIVATING.”
-GREG PECK ‘92
And I remember every teacher and every classmate. That crew shaped who I am.”
After college, Peck began his career in investment banking, which soon evolved into real estate investment. A bold entrepreneurial move at age 27 marked a turning point. “I didn’t have the money, but I had persistence and passion. I raised capital from friends and family and bought a small hotel property. That became the start of something bigger.”
That “something bigger” includes developing projects across the country—from boutique hotels in New York and San Francisco to a major property redevelopment near SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. “We’ve got a 130-room site entitled for 330,000 square feet of new development. It’s taken time, but it’s a project I’m proud of,” he says.
Through it all, Peck relies on the lessons learned at Portledge. “Portledge helped me see what was possible. It opened doors by exposing me to success driven people, and opportunity. I thought, ‘I want that too.’ It was motivating.”
When asked to share any advice he may have for current Portledge students, years of grateful reflection fill his eyes. “Cherish your time there. You don’t realize how special it is until later. Enjoy it, but work hard—Portledge can set you on a trajectory that will shape your life. Don’t discount the value of education. Read Plato, hang out with your friends, soak it all in—because real life is coming, and you’ll miss those days.”
From classrooms in Locust Valley to multimilliondollar deals in Los Angeles, Greg Peck’s journey is a testament to the power of a strong foundation— and the dreams it can help build.

I have not written in for years—I’ve been busy raising my family, advancing in my career, and simply enjoying life. My three children are out of college and now reside in Manhattan—one works at Bain Credit Capital, one just completed her first year at Columbia Law School, and one is entering her fifth year of the MD-PhD program at Cornell Medical School-Rockefeller
University. I still reside in Boston with my husband and practice breast imaging at Boston Medical Center. I was just appointed Editor-in-Chief of Academic Radiology, one of the premier journals in my field (who knew how important English classes with Mr. Edwards and Mr. Miles would be!). I am also taking on my fourth national leadership role with the Society of Breast Imaging as an incoming Board member and ultimately its President in 2029-2030. I climbed to the lower base camp of the Matterhorn last summer! However, the highlight from this past year was celebrating my 60th birthday in Dallas, TX, with three of my closest Portledge friends from the Class of ’82—Anne Schmutz Hovey, Timmie Manolis D’Agostino, and Lisa Masotto Farb. Although we lead very different lives, those years on the field hockey field and the basketball court brought us together for life. Best wishes to all of my classmates in the class of 1982. I hope life has treated you well!
