LAST MATCH RECAP The Timbers produced a number of dangerous chances, including a shot off the crossbar in the final minutes, but could not find the late-game equalizer in a 1-0 loss against Cascadia-rival Seattle Sounders FC in front of 41,451 fans at CenturyLink Field on April 26. Portland outshot Seattle 11-10, while also holding Sounders FC to just three shots on goal in the evenly played match, but conceded the go-ahead goal in the 77th minute when forward Clint Dempsey was able to tap in a fortuitous rebound after Timbers goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey stopped the initial shot from midfielder Andy Rose following a long throw-in.

Providence Park opened on April 14, 2011, in front of a sold-out crowd in the Timbers first-ever home match as an MLS team. The club proceeded to sell out all of its regular-season home games in the team’s first four MLS seasons. Spanning the 2013 and 2014 seasons, the Timbers compiled an MLS-club record 22-game unbeaten streak (12-0-10) at Providence Park from April 6, 2013 to June 1, 2014. The streak ranks as the third-longest all-time in MLS history.
