Oregon Garden and Garden View Restaurant

Enjoy 20 specialty gardens and beautiful vistas. Discover waterfalls, quiet ponds, a 400-year old Signature Oak, garden art, a pet garden, and delightful themed gardens. Enjoy a personally paced walking tour or ride the shuttle to see an excellent overview of the garden's many features. You have your choice of two locations for lunch. We'll have a group reservation at the Garden View restaurant where you can dine overlooking the garden, or you may purchase soups, sandwiches and snacks at the garden's gift shop and stay in the gardens longer. Please note that outside food is not allowed in the garden. We'll make a stop on our return at the EZ Orchards Farm Market. Fee includes admission. Bring money for lunch and any purchases. Sternwheeler and Bridgeside

Enjoy a riverboat cruise, providing 360 degrees of breathtaking vistas of the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Step. Board an authentic triple-deck paddle wheeler from Marine Park at Cascade Locks for a unique afternoon on the river. Fee includes 2-hour cruise. Bring money for lunch at the Bridgeside, next to the Bridge of the Gods, before the cruise. Afternoon in Astoria

Rich in history and surrounded by natural beauty, this town located at the mouth of the Columbia River is a perfect place to escape the daily routine of city life and the heat of summer. This area is the oldest American settlement west of the Rockies. Take in the sights as we travel through this location and feel the breeze from the coastal air. We will visit the museum at Flavel House and then drive across the Astoria bridge to the Washington side of the Columbia River to visit the fascinating Knappton Cove, which was a Quarantine Station from 1899-1938. Mt Hood History Tour

Dig deep into the objects, archives and photos documenting the history of the settlements around Wy'East (Mt. Hood). We'll visit the Mt Hood Cultural Center and Museum, located in Government Camp alongside historic Barlow Road. Six galleries of exhibits include skiing on Mt. Hood, natural history, and mountain art. The Sandy Historical Society and Museum features logging industry history, the Oregon Trail School District, comprehensive archives and a book store featuring works by local and regional authors. Finally, we'll visit the Forest Service regional center at Zigzag Ranger Station, a complex of 19 buildings over 125 acres that are on the National Register of Historic Places.
