COMMUNITY MUSIC CENTER YOUTH—MUSIC SKILLS Basic Skills
Age 4-6 Every great oak begins as an acorn. Put down roots into the fundamental concepts of musicianship through methods such as Orff, Kodaly and Dalcroze that incorporate movement, creative expression and social interaction. Start to develop listening, singing and improvisation abilities. Gain introduction to musical terms and notation, too. The experience will lead to groundbreaking progress on any instrument. This is a school-year length course that begins in October and continues through early June. Course fee is billed in 3 payments of $99 on the first of October, January, and April. $20 per term for CMC private lesson students. New participants are welcome any time during the year.
