Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.

The story behind
PCFK
“Diligently Pursing Knowledge”

In 1998, a seed of inspiration took root in the heart of a dedicated educator, Mrs. Barbara Kerr-Thompson. For one year, she had privately homeschooled the son of a close friend who was not functioning in formal school. She went to work teaching every day and would come home and teach her students a complete set of lessons in the evening. After a successful year of doing both, PCFK was born.
Aunty Barbara envisioned a place where academic excellence, spiritual growth, and holistic development could co-exist harmoniously.
With unwavering faith and sheer determination, she embarked on a remarkable journey to establish a Christian preparatory school.

The inaugural school year saw the arrival of a handful of students, whose parents trusted in Mrs. Kerr-Thompson’s vision. With meticulous care, she tailored the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each student, laying the groundwork for holistic education that would soon attract others seeking a similar blend of academic rigor and spiritual nourishment.
