Para prevenção de ataques contra Organizações Militares, o planejador da segurança dispõe basicamente de duas possíveis estratégias: ofensiva ou preventiva. Assim, esta pesquisa tem por objetivo avaliar comparativamente se existem GLIHUHQoDV VLJQL¿FDWLYDV HQWUH D SHUFHSomR GH ULVFR de um potencial agressor diante das estratégias de defesa ofensiva e de defesa preventiva nas ações de segurança de instalações militares, por meio da mensuração da utilidade esperada da ação em cada uma dessas estratégias, considerando-se que a probabilidade de agressão é tanto maior quanto maior a utilidade esperada pelo agente agressor com VHX DWR 2V UHVXOWDGRV PRVWUDP XPD VLJQL¿FDWLYD diferença entre as utilidades das estratégias de segurança. A estratégia ofensiva apresentou utilidade de aproximadamente 2,25 vezes menor que a da preventiva, na visão do potencial agressor.
