SUMMARY
This work presents a detailed panorama of drinking water and supply in Colombia, also shows concepts of empirical studies on the relationship between basic needs and the conflict, starting from the general questions such as provision to more technical issues. Concluding, that the positive relationship of drinking water directly influences the well-being of populations that wish to renounce violence, therefore it is the state that must guarantee the provision, provision and development of infrastructures wherever necessary, in order to be a lasting peace. Encouraging by creating the mechanisms and seeking solutions to the difficulties of coverage generated by externalities of affect the development of peaceful coexistence.
