IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, these basic safety precautions should always be followed:

1. Read all the instructions.

2. Always switch power off before removing plug from wall outlet.

3. Remove plug by grasping the plug. Do not pull the cord.

4. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs or motor assembly in water or other liquids.

5. Do not allow children to play with this appliance. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is in use.

6. Unplug from power outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

7. Allow the appliance to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

8. Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the appliance.

9. Do not use outdoors. This appliance is not designed for outdoor use.

10. Do not place the appliance on, or, near electrical equipment, hot gas flame or in a heated oven.

11. Do not use with an external timer.

12. Do not operate if the appliance has a damaged cable or plug.

13. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or to touch hot surfaces.

14. Always use on stable flat surface.

15. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

16. Do not use appliance for purpose other than intended usage.

17. Do not move or lift the appliance while the power cord is still connected to the outlet.

18. Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces may break off the pads and touch electrical parts creating risk of electrical shock.

19. No user service care. Parts to be returned to your supplier in case of fault or damage.

20. The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

21. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

22. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

23. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments, farmhouses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments, bed and breakfast type environments.

24. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

25. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance if it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

1. SAFETY WARNINGS

1.1. Warning

• This appliance is intended for household use and similar applications such as staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments, in catering services, and other non-commercial uses.

• This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

• IF the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its authorized service agent, or similarly qualified people to avoid a hazard.

• DO NOT store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.

• The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply after use and before any maintenance procedure.

WARNING: Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.

WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.

WARNING: Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.

WARNING: When positioning the appliance, ensure the power cord is not trapped or damaged.

WARNING:

• Do not place multiple adapters or portable power supplies at the back of the appliance.

• Do not connect the appliance to extension cords or multi-socket outlets.

DANGER: Risk of child entrapment.

Before disposing of an old refrigerator or freezer:

– Remove the doors.

– Leave the shelves in place so that children cannot climb inside.

• The refrigerator must be disconnected from the power supply before attempting to install any accessories.

REFRIGERANT:

• The refrigerant and insulation materials used are flammable. Therefore, when disposing of the appliance, it must be kept away from fire and recycled by a specialized company to avoid environmental damage or other hazards.

• Keys for doors or lockable lids must be kept away from children and stored safely to prevent entrapment.

EU Standard EN:

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or proper instruction regarding the safe use of the appliance and understand the potential hazards.

• Children must not play with the appliance.

• User maintenance and cleaning should not be carried out by children without supervision.

• Children aged 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload refrigerating appliances under supervision.

To avoid food contamination, follow the instructions below:

Door opening:

Prolonged opening of the door may lead to an increase in temperature in the compartments of the appliance.

Cleaning:

• Clean regularly surfaces that encounter food and accessible drainage systems.

• Clean water tanks if they have not been used for 48 hours. If the appliance is connected to a water supply, flush the system if the water has not been used for more than 5 days.

Storage of raw food:

Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator so that they do not meet other food.

Proper use of compartments:

• 2-star (**) compartments are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, making ice cream, and ice cubes.

• 1-star (*), 2-star (**), and 3-star (***) and four-star (****) compartments are not suitable for freezing fresh food.

Long-term storage:

If the refrigerator appliance is to remain unused for a long period, switch it off, defrost, clean, dry it, and leave the door open to prevent mold growth.

Important notes:

• For appliances without a 4-star compartment: This refrigerating appliance is not suitable for freezing fresh food.

• Freestanding appliance: This refrigerating appliance is not intended to be used as a builtin unit.

• LED lamps: Replacement or maintenance of LED lamps must be carried out only by the manufacturer, an authorized agent, or a qualified technician.

1) Refrigerating appliances may not operate consistently (e.g., defrosting of contents or temperature becoming too warm in the freezer compartment) when exposed for an extended period to temperatures below the cold limit of their designated climate class.

2) Carbonated drinks should not be stored in freezer compartments, food storage compartments, or low-temperature chambers/cabinets, and some products like ice water should not be consumed when excessively cold.

3) Storage times recommended by food manufacturers should not be exceeded for any type of food, especially for quick-frozen commercial foods stored in freezer compartments or cabinets.

4) Precautions must be taken to avoid unnecessary temperature rise of frozen food during defrosting of the appliance, such as wrapping the frozen food in several layers of newspaper.

5) An increase in the temperature of frozen foods during manual defrosting, maintenance, or cleaning may reduce their storage life.

6) Keeping the door open for extended periods may result in a significant increase in temperature in the compartments of the appliance.

7) Clean regularly any surfaces that may encounter food and accessible drainage systems.

8) Clean the water tanks if they have not been used for 48 hours. Flush the water system connected to a water supply if it has not been used for 5 days.

9) Store raw meat and fish in appropriate containers in the refrigerator to prevent them from touching or dripping onto other foods.

10)If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch it off, defrost, clean, dry it, and leave the door open to prevent mold growth inside the appliance.

11)For appliances with a chiller compartment: Some types of fresh vegetables and fruits are sensitive to cold and therefore not suitable for storage in this type of compartment.

Before first use:

– Leave the refrigerator standing upright for at least 30 minutes before plugging it into the power socket.

• Before storing food:

– The refrigerator should operate for at least 3–4 hours (or more than 4 hours during summer) before placing fresh or frozen food inside.

• Opening doors:

– Ensure there is sufficient space around the refrigerator for easy opening of the doors and drawers. The image is provided for reference only; actual configuration depends on the specific model and distributor instructions.

• Appliance placement:

– Place the refrigerator in the coolest part of the room, away from heat sources such as other appliances or heating ducts, and away from direct sunlight.

• Food storage:

– Let hot food cool to room temperature before placing it in the refrigerator.

– Do not overload the refrigerator, as this forces the compressor to work harder.

– Slow freezing of food can result in quality loss or spoilage.

• Proper storage:

– Wrap food properly and dry containers before placing them in the refrigerator to reduce frost buildup.

– Do not cover the storage bin with aluminum foil, wax paper, or paper towels, as they obstruct cold air circulation and reduce the efficiency of the refrigerator.

• Organization:

– Organize food items to minimize door openings and prolonged searches.

– Remove all necessary items and close the door as quickly as possible.

1. The refrigerator temperature is adjusted via the temperature controller located inside the appliance.

2. The markings on the dial correspond to different temperature levels but do not indicate exact temperature degrees.

– Setting "OFF": Turns the unit off.

– Setting "MIN": Warmer operation.

– Setting "NORMAL": Standard temperature, suitable for most food storage needs.

– Setting "MAX": The coldest temperature for maximum cooling.

Note: Select the setting that best suits your needs, considering the season, the volume of food, and the surrounding environmental conditions.
