REAP Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process often abbreviated as REAP, is standard UG level entrance test which allocates admission to various technical colleges in the state of Rajasthan. Organized by Rajasthan technical University and conducted by Centre for eGovernance, Jaipur, REAP stands out as a standard admission process that allows admission to various undergraduate engineering courses in various Govt. aided and private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan.

REAP 2019 Counselling Process Seat allotment through REAP is provided after a series of counselling rounds so that a fair distribution of seats can be initiated. Candidates first need to appear for a standard entrance test which ranks them according to a merit list. Students are then invited to attend REAP counselling 2019 at various counselling centres in person.

During the counselling process, candidates/ applicants need to fill a standard preference list containing various technical campuses to secure their seat. Students can fill the list with most preferred colleges to make sure that they donot miss out on a favorable engineering seat. The preference list can be modified till the last day of counselling, in case a student wants to settle for a better choice. While appearing for the counselling rounds, candidates need to bring along their original documents as well as a set of photocopies for document verification process.

In general, REAP counselling is conducted in three plus one special spot allotment round so that each and every applying student can reserve a seat in the most favorable college depending on his/her true potential.

The first round of REAP counselling is meant for the candidates from outside Rajasthan state, children of Ex. Servicemen, PwD officers or Kashmiri Migrants only.

The standard process remains the same, wherein candidate needs to download the allotment letter and report at the institute with required documents and balance fee to confirm his/her admission. However, candidate can also apply for upward movement or withdrawal depending on the seat availability across various other colleges.

Second round of REAP Seat Allotment is carried for the candidates of Rajasthan with similar process of confirming admission and exercising upward movement.

Round Three is carried to carry upward movement for the candidates with Rajasthan Domicile, wherein candidates are allotted higher preference institute depending on the seat availability.

Conclusion Although round three is mostly the final round of counselling session, the counselling committee also carries a special spot round for candidates from both Rajasthan and outer states.

In the special round, candidate who couldn’t get their desired seats in the previous rounds can again apply to secure favorable seats. Special round is meant for students who wish to withdraw their application or make certain changes in their preference. The authorized body tries to allot seats to all such candidates who couldn’t secure a seat due to any said reason or circumstances.
