Polipigment™ Nedir ? What is Polipigment™ ? Poliya Pigment Pastalarý,
Poliya Color Pastes,
poliester baðlayýcý içinde ezilmiþ renklendirici pigmentlerden oluþurlar. Monomer veya solvent içermediklerinden, depolama ve raf ömürleri on yýldan fazladýr.
Polipigment™ color pastes contain colorant pigments dispersed in polyester resin. Polipigment™ contains no monomer or solvent, therefore its shelf life is more than 10 years.
Polipigment™ öncelikle poliester, vinilester ve jelkotlarýn renklendirilmesi için üretilmiþtir. Bu nedenle poliester ve jelkotlar ile her oranda baðdaþabilir. Ancak çok fazla ilave edildiðinde, reçineyi yumuþattýðýndan %20'nin üzerinde kullanýlmasý tavsiye edilmez.
Polipigment™ is made for coloring polyester and gelcoats and are also compatible with the following resin systems:

It is important to add Polipigment™ to the main resin in two component systems and Polipigment™ should not exceed 10% to avoid substantial changes in resin properties. In polyester and gelcoat applications, it is not recommended for levels higher than 20% due to its tendency to soften both resins and gelcoats.

Important Notes Handling and Storage
< Keep the color paste container dry, at room temperature and stored upright. < Write the color code over the lid of the pail before use. < Mix well before use. < Never mix the paste with a stick previously contaminated by polyester, gelcoat or styrene because the color paste will be unusable within couple of months. < Do not mix the color paste directly into polyester or
< Be sure to test the color pastes' appropriateness for your usage environment. If you cannot find adequate information in this catalog, please contact our Help and Support center. Also the polyester and gelcoat must be suitable for the usage environment. < Use minimal levels of opaque color paste in order to keep gelcoats' or polyesters' properties. Transparent colors must be used at the maximum level in order to maintain desired color. < You must use a minimal level of accelerator and catalyst in order to keep the color pastes' original color.

< The color pastes in this group are used to color gelcoats, polyester resins and furniture lacquer. They can also be used to build intermediate colors, mixing within themselves and the transparent colors with any ratio. If this intermediate color is going to be used in brush type gelcoat applications, a test for separation must be made to avoid possible floating. You will find specific information about all these color pastes in our Polipigment™ Color Catalog or in the Product's technical bulletins.

Karýþým Renklerin Eldesi Ýle Ýlgili Bilgiler How to Get Intermediate Colors (Color Mixtures) < Karýþým renklerde dikkat edilmesi gereken en önemli nokta karýþýmý meydana getiren renklerde organik ve anorganik pigmentlerin birlikte kullanýlmasý durumunda yoðunluklarýndaki farklýlýk dolayýsýyla ayrýþma eðilimi gösterebilmeleridir. < Organik/anorganik pigment karýþýmý ile elde edilen ara renklerde hazýrlanan jelkotlar tercihen tabanca ile atýlmalý ve jelkot atýlýrken akýtma, sürükleme ve birikinti yaptýrýlmamalýdýr. Aksi halde renk ayrýþmalarý görülebilir. Poliya T-90-50 kullanýlarak ayrýþma problemleri minimize edilebilir. < When using organic and inorganic colors together in the same intermediate color, this mixture may have a tendency for pigment flooding and floating problems due to differences in densities. < Intermediate colored gelcoats made from organic and inorganic color paste mixtures should be applied with a spray gun. Take care to avoid dripping, dragging and heaping as this can result in color change. You can also use the Poliya T-90-50 additive to prevent this problem.

This highly opaque covering (hiding) paste is a perfect white and resistant to high temperatures. For production of color mixtures, 09 White should be used instead of 01 White because of its effect on the cure time. When combined with Polijel™ 212, 213 and 215 gelcoats, it also has a higher resistance to yellowing and fading.

If added alone into polyester and gelcoat in proportion of 6-10%, a dark navy blue or nearly black color is achieved. In smaller proportions, a transparent dark blue color can be achieved. This highly effective pigment paste, can be used in every condition. When used at high ratios within gelcoats, it does delay the cure time.

This paste has a very high covering (hiding) power and gives a shiny black raven effect. To achieve a transparent black color, add 0.5% to polyesters. At 3-6%, an opaque color can be achieved. When combined with inorganic pigments, it causes color separation due to difference in densities. Therefore, gelcoats colored with inorganic pigment mixtures should be applied with a spray gun. Take care to avoid dripping, dragging and heaping as this can result in color change. It does delay the gel time.

< Transparent color pastes are commonly used in buttons, jewelry and also GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) corrugated sheets as well as lighting equipment, windows and stained glass. Transparent colors are all organic based and can be mixed to obtain different colors with opaque, metallic and pearl color pastes at (0.01%-1%).
