1. VISUALIZATION 1.1 Sheet Show Condition  Polestar’s Take: This feature enables app developers to target different user groups by tailoring the experience and the content. A new option has been added to control the visibility of a sheet in the app.

This maybe be useful when we do not want to show a sheet to certain users

1. VISUALIZATION 1.2 Use Master Measures In Expressions  Polestar’s Take: It allows users to improve productivity and governance of master measures. Now you can call the name of a master measures inside any expression in the UI. This will help maintaining only one copy of any complex expression.

1. VISUALIZATION 1.3 New Video Player  Polestar’s Take: It is a new capability to use videos directly in an app, added under Dashboard Bundle library. Now, we can play the videos inside an app.

1. VISUALIZATION 1.4 New Grid Chart  Polestar’s Take: A new extension has been added under Visualization Bundle library. It provides a great way of showing measures across two dimensions. If we want to measure something across two dimensions, this chart provides a great representation.

1. VISUALIZATION 1.5 DatePicker Improvements  Polestar’s Take: The DatePicker used to have fixed buttons for predefined ranges. The "This" and "Last" buttons can now be customized to change X number of Day, Month, Quarter, Year or None. Also, we can select if we want to include current period in the above selections. It is now possible to click on any date within max and min. Previously, only dates in the model could be clicked on.

1. VISUALIZATION 1.6 Single Click On Mobile  Polestar’s Take: The button and the slider no longer requires an extra click on mobile.

1.7 App Reloads And Partial Reloads  Polestar’s Take: New actions in buttons have been added for app reloads and partial reloads.

1.8 New Functions Available  Polestar’s Take: The following three functions have been added with this release o Coalesce (exp,exp,...): Returns the first not null expression. Less need for nested if statements. o EmptyIsNull(exp) : Returns null if expression is empty string. Shorter, cleaner code. o LevenshteinDist (str1, str2): The minimum number of single-character edits to turn string 1 into 2.

2. AUGMENTED ANALYTICS 2.1 Normalization For K-means Clustering  Polestar’s Take: Normalization for K-means clustering, this extension to the k-means function will enable the normalization of data to be selected and controlled by the user. Normalization added with K-means clustering. This will help the user to cluster target fields in a more productive way.

2. AUGMENTED ANALYTICS 2.2 Default Analysis Period:  Polestar’s Take: This new capability enables users to specify a default period for analysis when using Insight Advisor. The default period will apply the conditions to the user experience such as "Month", "Quarter" or "Year". Default period can be applied in insights advisor to generate time specific charts.

2. AUGMENTED ANALYTICS 2.3 Natural Language Multi-Lingual:  Polestar’s Take: Now in windows, users can take advantage of the multilingual natural language model running on QCS as a remote service.
